I'm on Victory as well, both have key players missing, but this has to be a bit of a let down for WSW whereas the home team should be pumped up.

I took Victory at +125 and it was over in the first half hour. WSW looked flat but Victory may have the best squad in the A-League this year, time will tell.
A-League is at a convenient time for me since its normally Fri and Sat nights in Australia when there is no American sport on. Hopefully this game is a sign of a good season ahead.

Wow amazing injury time goal to win it for the Mariners. Despite the result I think Newcastle were by far the better team, I'll be looking to play on them and against the Mariners next week, depending on prices of course.

Good weekend but should of backed myself more. Was leaning CCM -0.5, PERTH -0.5, Adelaide DNB and Sydney vs City HT draw but decided to play it safe. Oh well, happy with the round, a-league after all is unpredictable. Thats all from me this week. Ill be posting a league plays next week as the second round commences.

WSW star striker Tomi Juric wont be playing while Sydney FC named a pretty attacking line up with 4 attackers (ibini, janko, brosque and gameiro) all starting. In terms of deference, Topor-stanley is back for WSW and should sure up their defense after last weeks 4-1 loss. Really hard to predict, I would probably lean under. WSW wont allow what happened last week happen again while, although Sydney have named an attacking line up, it's only their 2nd a-league game together and the team is still gelling.
