It does get old fast, hand out some yellows for flops or some shit. In other news, Neymar's girl is sexy though.

True...in the military I took my crew to Monday Night Raw (Some might argue isn't exactly a sport) but it was the funniest and greatest 3 hours of entertainment the people said afterwards....especially the part where they took the sledgehammer to the Limo and crushed the hood

Not probably...they were....and some of the big names like Ronaldo, Neymar, and Messi are the biggest divers in the business. It's probably the one piece of soccer that is ruining an otherwise great sport is what some would call "cheating", and others see it "part of the game". We saw it in the opening game when the Japanese ref got duped by the Spanish player....and you'll see it again and again during the Cup

Do they really need to take a guy off in a stretcher when he pulls a hammy?GEEZUZ

In real football he would try to walk it off and get back in there.

In American football they would be proud of running 100 yards in three hours, pause the game every few moments, sit on the sidelines half the time, and still be tired, whereas footballer's may do 5 miles in 90 minutes

Soccer players only have shin-guards for protection(goalies have gloves). They don't have helmets to protect their heads, but they have to challenge head balls.

Also, everyone should know that soccer is a non-contact sport...

Of course the difference being you have 11 incredible hulks chasing you and trying to crush your skull in real football.

But yeah your sport would compare better to track and field if that's what you're getting at.

It's too hot to play soccer. Wasn't even 90 degrees

    http://sports.yahoo.com/news/u-s--fa...234511513.html

Both Italy's and England's players and coaches, as well as FIFPro, the international players' union, said there was a need for cooling timeouts (there were none under FIFA guidelines) to guard against physical risk. All wondered who had the bright idea of ever bringing the World Cup to Manaus. Those that competed said not only was there a health threat but also the level of play was affected.
"It was ridiculous not to have [cooling] timeouts," Prandelli said. "We had to slow down our pace to regain our breaths. It was impossible to maintain the intensity. … It's just absurd."

In the immortal words of Kenny Powers: I play real sports, I'm not trying to be the best at exercising.
