    Tuesday Dec 1st - discussion/best bets.

I enjoyed the input yesterday where everyone contributed in one thread for the day ... thought i'd start a Tuesday Thread with a lean of my own and open it up for discussion ....

    Leyton Orient v Gillingham - Back Leyton Orient @ [2.45] 5 Dimes.

Gillingham have an away record of 0-1-8 (W-D-L) for their 9 away games this season. Their last 6 games (all defeats) they have let in 15 Goals and scored just three.

@ 2.45 playing at home with a last 6 record of 3-2-1 - Leyton Orient have got to be worth a small bet in this one haven't they?

Thoughts? Your own best bets for Tuesday?

I'm staying away from that one. Leyton's past 3 home games have been against bottom table sides (18 or lower) and they won by 1 on their two wins. Too risky imo.

The play I really like is the over on Southampton VS Wycombe. Their past 5 homes games have all gone over 3.

Millwall vs. Milton Keynes Dons - go over 2.5 @ 2.04 (Pinny). Do your own DD, but I looked at the latest few games and both teams seem to score very well (especially MK away and Millwall at home)

    BOL everyone

    Brighton v Charlton over 2.5 @ 1.83

Brighton concede 2 on average, Charlton score 2 on average. Brighton's last win saw them score 3 with 2 against, Charlton scored 4 on their last outing and allowed 2 in. Last month Charlton put 5 past MK Dons.

Like Leeds United on the road to keep their spot at the top of the table.

Portsmouth PK & +0.5 at +104 seems good value.

I like Leeds also. They have started to win away matches also, not just on Elland Road.
    Oldham's form is very poor.

i put Brest in a parlay, have any insight as to why Istres would win out in this match?

If you're familiar with past results in the French Ligue 2, you wouldn't touch Brest today. Always avoid the most favored side in that league. There'll be so much action on Brest today as single wagers and in parlays and you can imagine what the books will gain if Brest doesn't win.
IMHO, the best play in that league today is Strassbourg. They're better than their league position would indicate.

I'm thinking of making a play on the under 2 1/2 for the Portsmouth-Aston Villa match.

    Good idea/bad idea?
