    Champions league

    Bayer Leverkusen v PSG

    PSG:

    • The likes of Marco Verratti and Blaise Matuidi will return to the side having been rested on Friday night, replacing Cabaye and either Menez or Pastore who are likely to drop to the bench.
    • Blanc was able to bring off the likes of Ibrahimovic, Lavezzi and Motta having wrapped up a comfortable win against Valenciennes just after half time.
    • Edinson Cavani is likely to continue to miss out with a thigh injury, while Christophe Jallet still has a back problem.

    Bayer Leverkusen:

    • The versatile Emre Can is suspended having picked up 3 bookings in the group stages, while Lars Bender would miss the second leg were he to be cautioned on Tuesday.
    • Gonzalo Castro could drop back into midfield in his place with Sidney Sam returning on the right of a front three having been left out of the match against his future club Schalke.
    • Stefan Reinartz missed a third game running with a heel problem at the weekend and remains a doubt, while centre-back Emir Spahic picked up a knock and could also miss out.

i dont think bayers form has been that great just coming from a loss by shalke at home reccently. while psg has been on high standards all round. it is cliche of me to point this out but ibrahimovic will impress even though he is not 100%, having the best scoring stats in ligue 1 scoring 33 in his last 30 games. In the last 3 away games, PSG had scored 10 goals. they have also just lost 1 out of 7 away games in europe. Leverkusens form has been far from impressive at home, losing their last 4 form 6 in germany. I think Leverkusen will struggle to score.

    0-1 or 0-2 to PSG

    Man City v Barcelona

    Barca:

    • Neymar returned from injury in spectacular form in the 6-0 rout over Rayo Vallecano on Saturday, but could start on the bench.
    • Jordi Alba and Xavi may come into the starting XI.
    • Barcelona have no injury worries ahead of the trip to Manchester.

    Man city:

    • Victory over Chelsea on Saturday saw Manchester City secure their place in the next round of the FA Cup.
    • Samir Nasri made a goalscoring return to action in the win and could be recalled into the starting XI, along with Martín Demichelis and Álvaro Negredo.
    • James Milner is suspended, Sergio Agüero and Matija Nastasic are sidelined, but Fernandinho has returned to training and is in the squad.

too tough to call for me here any suggestions?

    my pick over 2.5 goals.

    bol to everyone suggestions appreciated

Can't pass up on Man City PK at home, Barcelona is a strong squad but City has to go for a win if they wanna have any chances at advancing through. They're real contenders too.

Man City pk is good value. Like I mentioned in the other thread, Barca CL away form for a team of their quality is below average.

I tend to disagree with folks feeling on Man City and Barca tomorrow. I think one should be in context Barca's away form. Messi was out for several months (at least weeks), then Neymar was out along with several others intermittently. They mainly play in a soft league where they only have 2 real competitors. Real and ATL. My point is they don't really get up for the softer matches and have been taking it rather easy this year while still winning easily all things considered. Yes, they lost to Valencia a couple of weeks ago at home. But that could be exactly what the doctor order with Neymar and Messi 100%. Barca doesn't like the taste of defeat and is looking for a big win. 6-0 against Rayo is nada. They play for the big stage and wake up for champs league. I think they go in strong on both sides of the field and come out 3-1.

I just don't trust Man City at the moment and think they are somewhat lost without their key players. When Messi was out Barca still won but not has easily because they don't have the same confidence without him on the field. The same holds true for Aguero and Manc City yet they didn't win (obviously more so on the road). I just don't see them getting the same chances on net as they do with him. Considering there recent form, I think they are headed in the opposite direction as Barca. Don't forget, even those games where Barca was down, even in the last 10 mins, they were able to come back and punch 1 or 2 in. They can almost score at will. I just think it is hard to pass up Barca in champs league for + money.

That said, Man City - 9-0.

    GL with your plays.

PS- I like all four road teams this week. I will be buried by Wednesday afternoon. Until then,

Barca and Man City both inconsistent defensively...will be looking to bet on over live at some point. Especially if Demichelis starts

I was just goin to say if Demichelis plays pound Barca moneyline. Worst player ever. Barca likes playing english teams. Other than Chelsea's bus, Barca beats english teams consistantly, quite easy too. Supposedly Aguero is out too, i might take Barca handikap as well.

im gonna probably be a joke after this post, i have said this and i will continue to say it...... no matter what Man City has in the EPL and FA cant be taken into account here lads. THEY ARE UNPROVEN IN EUROPE and Barca are champions league specialists!!! the best city could do is a score draw, because barca defensively weak (likely to concede). Man city will not have the possession they are accustomed to here lads.
MY UNDOUBTFUL PICK is Barcalona DNB to cover the fact that they will know they cant be beaten at home should the return require it.
Dont be silly lads its BARCALONA and a bet on CIty is a very dumb idea in my not so humble opinion.

win or lose with my pick i stand firm and this is where the road ends for City.

And La Liga is not that easy, other than bottom few teams. Sevilla, Villareal, Bilbao, Sociedad and few others are solid teams, so its not automatic 3 points for spains top teams every week. Barca will dominate City, I just hope they can defend corner kicks and should be able to beat this City team without Aguero.

I think the only way Man City v Barca stays under is if we see a game with a TON of crossbar out, post out, clearing on the line type situations.

fuarking disappointing soccer from man city... no where near champions league standards. demechelis was useless worse match up.. having 5 in the back was pre pointless with him included.. 2-0 to barca convincingly when they have 80% of possession. worse play on man city gotta admitt. best play on psg though 4-0 seemed far too easy. bol for tomorrow will have a write up later on

Barcelona is a much better team, City are still sort of newcomers when it comes to big boys..all my bets hit today . Messi scores, barca moneyline and barca handikap..same thing tommorow, Bayern crushes Arsenal and Atletico should beat this sorry ass Milan team..
