can belgium win the world cup? +1400
i know besides spain no european nation has won outside the continent but this belgian squad is stacked from top to bottom. they could field 2 teams. its probably rigged for brazil to win at home considering they are only +310 to win it deespite having an average brazilian squad. belgium used to be a darkhorse but no longer are. they were once +2800 to win it now only +1400. probably end up not making it out of the group

It depends on the draw. The hardest thing is to get out of the groups and then it depends on the seedings.

Beglium looks good on paper, with all the fancy names such as Hazard, Benteke, Fellaini, Mignolet, Courtois ( both world class GK's ) Vetrgohen.. etc.. but their recent games have me doubting them.. Don't see them as a REAL threat... Need to do a lot of work on defence and conceding from set pieces..
Argentina is not winning this, period.

Belgiums lack of experience will probably be their downfall...showed last night again by conceding two late goals. Also got overrated benteke up front
Should be playing Benteke and Lukaku up front together.....Hazard also nasty on the wing. Their attacking and midfield is deep as hell with young talent
Defense may be the downfall here although they have 2 world class goalies
Love France as well as semi-darkhorses.....Pogba/Cabaye/Matuidi about as good as it gets controlling the middle and Benzema is in form right now

Belgium has some good players, but players on their own can't win a tournament... maybe Ronaldo.
why Italy?
Weather and time change doesn't favor Euro teams. It will be either Brazil or Argentina winning it.
Italy are playing great football under Prandelli, finalists in 2012 (and the score didn't really reflect the actual performances), followed by semi finals last year (and an unfortunate loss on penalties) where they easily outplayed Spain, and that was after playing in a tough group too, whereas Spain had Nigeria and Tahiti...
Prandelli knows how to beat Spain, you can beat them with pace, they were just unfortunate to have a few players out (especially Balotelli) last year in Brazil. Brazil used the same tactics as Italy and destroyed Spain. Spain won't go all the way to the finals by playing the same old football they usually do, since teams are starting to learn how to beat them.
Italy will also have a natural finisher in Guiseppe Rossi to play up front with Balotelli this time, and that's just what Italy has been missing the last few years.
Pirlo controlling the game, with De Rossi holding down the midfield and Cassano up front to bring a bit of magic and creativity to the game.
Not only were Italy playing without a lot of the main team, it was clear yesterday Prandelli wasn't interested in the win against Spain, he uses friendlies to try out new players, but won't want to reveal his tactics to beat Spain in a pointless friendly.
Plus I'm Italian, but in 2010 it didn't stop me saying we wouldn't have a chance in a million to win that year.
Plus, if Netherlands can top their group, Spain will no doubt have to play Brazil in the next round, and you know Brazil won't go out of the tournament that early
