    Bayern München @ Barcelona - Discussion Thread

    So we all know what happened last time these teams faced off in Germany. Based on this whooping the Germans gave Barca, and the fact that Bayern is NOT a team that seems to be capable of parking the bus like Dortmund did yesterday - the value has to be on them.

    The only thing that's keeping me away is the room they have that will still allow them to advance so they would be fine losing 2-0 or 3-0 just like Dortmund yesterday, but I just can't see them not attacking.

    Any thoughts here? Has Bayern ever been in this situation before? What'd they do? Better to wait until the 1H ends to make a play?

    The options I find worthwhile (so far):

    - Barca wins & OVER 2.5 @ +142
    - Bayern TT O1 @ ??? (not available yet)

    I get it. My Dortmund @ RM thread yesterday had a solid crew and a lot of activity, so I made another one for today.

    This thread isn't just for picks, it's for a prior/mid/post-game discussions. If people don't want to use it for that it will die off and fall to the bottom of the page.

    From what i've read on Barca's website the last thing they are prepared to do is give up. I think they will give it their all tonight for their fans.

    I think I might have to take OVER 3 @ -135 or Barca O1.5 @ -165

    Even without Messi starting, I expect Barca to land one goal in the 1H, and if/when Messi joins in the 2H, he should be able to net one also. I still like the O1.5...especially at -135.

    When it comes down to it, Barca needs a minimum of 4 goals and they were shut out in Germany. I just cannot see that happening at home, and Bayern isn't a bus-parking team.
