Elgin Could Lose Their Marbles To Buckie

It's been little short of a disastrous season to date for Elgin City, who sit firmly at the foot of Scottish Division Three with a paltry seven points from 17 matches to date.

The fact that theye are six points adrift of the perennial whipping boys of Scottish football, East Stirling, says it all.

This weekend they have a short break from the rigours of the league, but could still find themselves on the receiving end of a beating when they play host to Buckie Thistle in the Scottish Cup.

Although Buckie ply their trade in the Highland League, their record is almost the polar opposite of Elgin's. As things stand they sit top of the table, with nine wins and three draws from 12 unbeaten matches to date.
