    Wednesday's [11/7] Ninja Plays

    [Champions League] Sporting Braga-Manchester United Over 2.5 [-120]
    United can seal a trip to the next round with a win today. Braga meanwhile will be looking for points to keep within striking distance of the second qualifying spot in Group H as they stand a point behind Cluj right now with just three matches to go. Braga showed the ability to trouble United's patchwork defense when the two met in October, scoring twice @ United before losing late, 3-2. Braga has now scored two goals in each of their last two CL matches after going scoreless to open against Cluj. United has six goals in their three group stage matches and has failed to keep a clean sheet in the last two. Overall, they have conceded now in nine of their last ten competitive matches.

    Both teams have scored & conceded in two of their three group stage matches, including when they met in October. Chelsea has now scored & conceded in seven of their last eight in all competitions. Shakhtar has conceded & scored in six of their last nine. The prior meeting between the two featured a bevy of attacking with a whopping 28 shots ON-TARGET. Anything in that neighborhood will make it tricky for either team to keep a clean sheet.

    [Champions League] Benfica-Spartak Moscow Total Corners Over 11.5 [+110]
    I think a good # to try and over with for plus money. Benfica has 27 corners in three group stage matches, a minimum of eight in each match. That # is amazing to me when you consider they had eight against Barcelona when they only had 29% possession. This team attacks well and that often leads to corners. These two combined for 16 corners in their previous encounter.

    Took the ManU/Bragga over 2,5 as well.
    It will probably be more or less a open game, unfortunately neither Van Persie or Rooney are gonna play tonight, still they have enough reserves to score a goal or two, plus Bragga at home will be motivated and on top of that ManU's defense is very leaky....

    United looks like they are playing not to lose this one. Probably gonna look to sneak in a goal and hold 1-0. Perils of the game. Never know exactly how things will unfold. Was hoping they'd hang a BTTS on the Celtic-Barcelona game - but suppose they believe it inevitable Barca will score.

    The only match outside of the Bayern ass whopping where teams look like they want to score. Just a smaller play. I think Chelsea will score again and Shakhtar should be pushing even more so and probably fire in more shots trailing by 1.
