    Sunday's [8/19] Ninja Plays

    [MLS] D.C. United -105
United in a good spot to try and get points today. At home, they have been dominant with seven straight wins in league play and an unbeaten streak @ 10. Philadelphia visits and they remain a struggling side. On the road, the Union have lost four of their last five and seven of ten on the season. The two sides recently swapped players which makes this a little more interesting. United got striker Pajoy who does have goal scoring in his blood, but has struggled to finish consistently. They gave up midfielder Danny Cruz. United needs the full points here as they chase a playoff spot.

How's game looking now? Game reaks of 1-1 with dc missing plenty of chances.

Damn you, EP! I will lose nearly $11 on this degenerate action. You buried me.

Me and moneylines in soccer not jiving lately. Should stick to totals and handicaps perhaps. Was still the play I would make ten times out of ten given this situation though.

It was a solid play based on the facts we had before the match, EP. Nothing wrong with a loss on a sound pick, but we're not dead just yet ...

BS foul call screws D.C. out of the equalizer. The Philly backers owe the ref a beer.

1-1. De Rosario made the PK, but the ref called a re-try because he claimed that a D.C. player encroached. He sort of did, but so did a couple of Union players. De Rosario totally biffed the second attempt.

In between the attempts, there was some sort of physical altercation that resulted in a yellow for one Union player and a red for a D.C. player. Then, a D.C. player picked up a red on a vicious defensive move a few seconds later.

Crazy ending to this one. A pair of D.C. players were shoving each other after the whistle blew.

We got butt fukked. Missed PK. And updates indicate that DCU had some disallowed goals or something.

I watched the game (had the over), before the end of game madness the ref disallowed another DC goal. Philly keeper lost the ball going down for a save, his teammate tried to clear but DC retained possession and then scored. Ref claimed DC took the ball from the keeper. One of many dubious (i.e. horsesh*t calls). The offside on the pk was technically correct (player entered the arc), but as stated above Philly was 3 feet into the box. Of course De Rosario proceeded to air mail the second attempt. And why is he taking the pk anyway, now missed 5 out of 18. I could be wrong, but that doesn't sound so good. To be fair, if Philly could finish they would have scored 5 goals in the first half. End of rant.

All true. I was thinking the same thing...De Rosario has a pretty bad percentage on PK makes. They really need someone to consistently hit 9/10 PK's.
