Both Klose and Podolski married Polish women and speak Polish at home. Podolski, along with most of the German team, do not sing the national anthem. Strong German pride.

They did a study where they talked about why messi didnt sing the national anthem for Argentina and how many players sang their national anthem at euro 2012, germany had 68% singing the anthem which is actually alot more than they used to in the 1970s, higher percentage than Russia and a little behind Netherlands and Ireland. Greece had 100% of their players singing their national anthem but the country is broke, I'd rather have people that pay their taxes and build a world class economy like Germany than just poorly singing their anthem or better yet have an anthem like spain has that is instrumental.

One place they sing their anthem loud and proud, North Korea. You better sing it.

You cant compare 2006 to 2010.

More than half of the players in 2006 weren't playing in 2010. Completely different side.

They don't really need gomez that much either, there's always someone up front who can score. Just look at the Greece game.

Ozil this and Ozil that, can't remember him doing anything special and I watch every Germany game.
