Well, the big boys enter the tourney today with 14 games and 2 on Wednesday.Seven lower league teams are playing at home tonight including Carolina(actually attending myself). Most books I see have lines on the matches.Hopefully 5 dimes will follow suit shortly.I am going to give a brief take on the dog plays I like tonight.Mind you I do not have access to euro books, but if you live somewhere that does, maybe I can make you some dough in exchange for some points in return!
LA Galaxy at CarolinaRailhawks...No Keene,Donovan or Beckham. This match is the biggest soccer match to hit this state EVER.Game sold out in 4 hours, and the team opened up an additional 1500 seats that were just completed.Close to 10,000 expected.Even though the hawks are not what they were last year, with the Galaxy missing their big 3 and this will be their 5th match in 17 days,I am going with the home dog here(of course I have to have $$ on it if I am going attending!!) +320..1 unit
DC united at Richmond Kickers...I have said it before, the kickers love the Cup,they have many wins vs superior competition in this tourney.I know DC is loaded but how can you not take the Kickers here again at home too!! +1.5..2 units.. See my post from last year...http://www.sportsbookreview.com/forum/soccer-bet...d-kickers.html
Minnesota at Real Salt Lake...Minn is the best American team in the NASL, I really think that they can win this match. To have them as such big dogs is CRAZY.+1.5 1.5 units ,+600 .5 unit
Rochester Rhinos at Philadelphia Union...Top tier USL Pro team vs bottom MLS..I like these odds, philly may win, but will not cover!! +1.5/2 1 unit... +1000 .25 units..
Actually would not be surprised in the least to see some other upsets tonight. They changed the format around this year to open it up to 64 teams. And having all these home games for the lower league teams has not ever happened before.I smell upset city tonight, and even covering the board with all dog plays may not be a bad idea.
