Would someone explain Asian Handicap in soccer matches to me

new to soccer handicapping and I don't really understand what the 1/4 and 3/4 mean. I know it's a half and half bet, but I don't really get it. Could someone who knows more about it please explain it, thank you for your time.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asian_handicap

Thorough explanation. Basically, if you had Team A laying -1/2, -1, you wager is split in two. You can lose, push, or win, any combination of the two. Team A ties/loses, you lose both halves (your whole wager); they win by 1, you win half and push half; they win by 2 you win both halves (your whole wager). Really not too complicated. The link goes into more detail. Bottom line is Asian handicap provides you a little bit of a safety net.

Once you accept Christ into your life, Asian Handicapping becomes second nature. May Jesus Christ Bless Sbobet!

If you are Asian you can pretend to be handicapped, and they'll give a 1/4 or 3/4 discount of a point for your bets.

If you can fake a better injury (they will ask you to send documents), then you'll get the 3/4 discount.

    Example

John Doe gets -110 on the match

Ching Wang Fun Dung gets -109.25 odds..... b/c he fakes using a cane

If you are Asian, definitely try to take advantage of this odds discount.

if you bet 10 bucks on +0.25 and the result is a draw, then half of your stake (5) is a push because it is on 0 and the other half it is a winner at +0.5. If your team wins, both halfs of the stake are winners, the whole bet is a winner. If your team loses the whole bet is a loser.

If this doesn't help let me know and I will try to post a more detailed explanation

1/4, or say 2.25, means half you bet on 2 and half on 2.5

3/4, or say 2.75, means half bet on 2.5 and half on 3

    Wow ur retarded.

    If a team is favored by -1/4, it means -0 & -.5

    If a teams is favored by -3/4, it means -.5 & -1

Basically it is the number between two spreads. Half money on one side and half on the other.

I guess that makes two of us, considering we said the same thing.

Take the integral 0 to +inf -inf to 0 of e^(alpha^2)+sin(beta) dalpha dbeta and divide by 2. This is Asian handicap.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the responses. I knew it was two bets, but I didn't fully understand what the two bets were on.
