Visitors humiliated Varteks last time they meet. It was 4-0 for Sesvete in the end, but results wasn't realistic cause it was in fact a pretty boring match where Sesvete converted almost everything they could and Varteks didn't deserved to lose by 4 goals. This time, we might easily see Sesvete going home with 3-4 or maybe more goals in their bag cause they can't count on their two regular CB's, and what is more important, their coach just resigned after disagreeing with controversial chairman Zubak. To remind you, ex-world champion Petrović left Sesvete for same reason and Kranjčar was appointed instead. Kranjčar was in charge when Sesvete obtained promotion in season 2007/08, but now has left the club without leading his team in competitive match.

Varteks brought few players, Carlos from Dinamo and Bloudek from Milan, kept their coach and is a lot stronger than in the first part of the season imho. They also had few good results on pre-matches including win over Sturm Graz.

Shortly, Varteks has this one on plate. I really can't imagine easier job and more convenient circumstances for them in this moment so they should use it and earn their first official win in 2009 without much stress.
