I disagree. The top english teams are very deep and talented but once you get past the top teams there's a huge dropoff in the middle and lower level teams. Serie A, from top to bottom, is a better and more competitive league.I love the Flyers, but I will have to disagree with a fellow Philadelphian. EPL is the deepest and best league in the world, bar none. That said, I rarely watch EPL, and don't really like it, but you can't argue with fan bases and revenue. La Liga has the two giants, Serie A has three, Bundesliga has one, Ligue 1 is kind of boring, but the EPL has tonnes of teams week in and week out. And don't give me he Big 4 argument. And now I need a shower for backing EPL...

Serie A and Argentina are the worst leagues on right now it's boring and all they do is flop all game trying to get PK's. The french league is a close runner up as the next worse to watch.

Who cares what the rankings say? If you want to see the true rankings of how things stand, then look at Italian teams' record vs. teams from other nations in the various competitions. Serie A/Italian football is #1.
Inter is so bad in Italy this year they are in danger of being relegated to Serie B. Yet, just yesterday they defeated the french champions in their own stadium in the champions league.
As for the penalty kick against australia. the foul was committed in the penalty area so yes it was rightly judged to be a foul and hence, a penalty kick.

Italian coaches are the best in the world. This is proven time and again. Man City would be a middle tier team if it weren't for Mancini.
As for Mourinho, Inter were already champions of Italy for 3 consecutive years before Mourinho came, so it wasn't like he took a bad team and won everything with them. They were already a great team when he got there.
