Alcoyano is on the road to face one of last year's La Liga drops, Deportivo La Coruna. Deportivo have a strong home record of 4-1 since joining the Segunda League, but Alcoyano has proven despite their "minnow" status in the league that they are a tough out. In seven league matches, they have lost just twice and both times by single goals. In Copa Del Rey competition, they were unlucky road warriors last time as they battled Hercules to a 1-1 draw before losing in extra time, 3-1. They led 1-0 until the 87th minute. Overall, this Alcoyano side shows great fighting spirit in this competition historically as they have only lost by more than one goal in 15 Copa matches all-time. Deportivo is missing a couple important players to international duty, but still field a strong side - still, I think this Alcoyano side goes down fighting and maybe even works another regulation time draw.
