    Joey "Gentleman" Barton wants to stay - what do you think toon fans?

    This guy just screams 'mug' to me, I can't even remember the last time I saw him do something on a football pitch that made me forget the stupid things he has done and said. He is now showing what great brain he has for negotiating via the press by saying "I don't want to leave. My family is settled and I love living in Newcastle. I've got a great working relationship with everyone at the club. I love being there and I've got no ambition to leave." and then "If someone comes in and offers Champions league football - even if I'd signed a five or six year contract at Newcastle - I'd have to consider it"

    Sign this guy up for 6 years and put him in the reserves so we don't have to see him again please Newcastle!
