It was a game that Barca where in complete control of after the first 10 minutes, but at 1-1, utd still had a chance and gave away two goals that could have been prevented had they pressed.

I'm still amazed at the domination. When Barca didn't have possession, which was pretty much the whole match, Man U couldn't come close to getting anything going. It's one thing that they dominate possession but once they lose it they do such an amazing job of closing down and getting possession right back. I didn't think Barca-United was that one-sided. We all know that Barca would play the possession game. But that doesn't mean a whole lot. United tied the game, didn't they? And they also dominated the first 10 minutes. I thought Van der Sar in form would have stopped the first and second goal. That was some very bad goal keeping. The third goal was great, including the move by the sideline, borrowed from Cruyff, that preceded it.

Barca was better. And they are a very good team. However, the CL is a joke these days. It's always the same teams in the final, so the money has decided this sport. Of course you can be great when you can buy anybody you want.
