    Man City vs. L'Pool

    OK, guys...

Man City is 4th in the BPL and obviously have motivation to stay in the top four. Could they be looking past L'Pool to their big match vs. Man U in the FA Cup semi-final this coming weekend?

L'Pool is 6th in the BPL and have been pretty good at home this year (9-4-2)

What's the right side? Or perhaps a better question is: Is there a right side?

If this was City at home I'd even take -1 or -2. But Liverpool are strong at home and City are weak away from home. I want to take the under but both of them have a couple important defenders missing as well..

IMO this is a flip, simple as that.

Ugh...this game has 1-1, 1-0 written all over it

HOWEVER...Im on the o2/2.5. Both teams have had a week to rest. Betting both teams offenses will click.

    I probably should've just laid off...but i am a degenerate.

Scratch that Under play. We have a shite defence, and I can see Suarez and Carroll clicking. Should have lots of goals or be a shite boring game.

I enjoy this discussion. It is refreshing to read comments that reflect the way I feel about this game. If I had to bet on this game, and I am sure we would all agree as a majority, the under is the easiest looking of the options. having said that I doubt it goes under 2.5. This one probably finds a way to end 2-2 somehow, with man city scoring late to tie it up and piss pool fans off. I am wondering if the draw option could be the "safest" relative to playing with hand grenades.

Very very tough to call this game. I liked Under. But Liverpool missing Agger, who is key. Tevez, Dzeko, Silva, Balotelli, Johnson are good enough to score against us.

We are at home and I feel Suarez or Carroll will pop up with a goal.

Hard to pick any bet on this game.

Two teams on my blacklist playing each other. A rational decision would be staying away. But I think I'll throw some money on draw. Or under.

Man. City are playig this kind of games defensively which is a big mistake.
Liverpol has Suarez who can make the difference.
    I think Liverpool will win.

Man City should prove too strong for Liverpool. The players are more cohesive as a team than previously while Liverpool have not been playing too impressively.

pool have only lost 2 times at home this season, to wolves and blackpool as baffling as that is. they have gotten good results against the top tier teams at home all season. city have really beaten no one on the road all season, 6 wins against mostly the bottom teams, newcastle being the best win. i got pool pick -120, i like it up to -130, medium size play. also can play the revenge angle after a 3-0 drubbing in the 2nd game of the year.

I'm on City here. I see them as favorites today, so the odds make me bet. They need the 3 points more than Liverpool. Flanagan may be in the starting lineup for the first time for Liverpool. Would think Ballotelli/Silva or whatever playing will give him a lot to do. Gerrard out, with Spearing taking his role. Carroll has not been impressive since joining. City have, in my opinion, a stronger midfield. Worries though, City hasn't won away in 2011.

Tend to agree, can get Man City at 11/10 Draw no bet. G.Johnson and Agger are also out, Liverpool with Skrtel and Krygiakos at the back arn't very solid. Without Gerrard they are gonna lack creativity and could get dominated in midfield by Yaya and De Jong

I doubt that we will see Kyrgiakos.
I think Liverpool: Reina, Flanagan, Carragher, Skrtel, Aurelio, Lucas, Spearing, Meireles, Kuyt, Suarez, Carroll.
City won 3-0 at home vs Liverpool. Different day, even year, but still. City DNB at 1.92 will be my bet.
    Good luck

Flanagan will start and Robinson on the bench, is what I'm hearing. Might see some youngsters out for us. Personally, I'm excited to see two young lads from the academy play for us today. From a betting point of view, it's making my lean on City stronger.

Over 2.5 but for betpoints only, this one was is a mystery. Couldn't pick a side and only picked over cause under is juiced to high hell.
