I ordered in some grub and they tell me this is gonna be a robotic cart delivery and it will come to my home and deliver my food road side. I was like WTF? This is something new ok let's try it.

So it's a GPS and man controlled cart that has 4 wheels and drives itself across the city to your home from the restaurant. You get notified on your cell phone when it arrives and you have to hit open on the app to get the grub from the cart. https://www.cocodelivery.com/

Needless to say it took an hour to get to my house and the robotic cart stopped around the corner and not in front of my house. I had trouble finding it. It also took forever to open with the app on my phone and get my food, needless to say my food was cold.

I gave it a one star rating out of five. It's a wash! Technology trying to get rid of delivery drivers now. I don't want to see hundreds of these carts driving around the city on sidewalks delivering food.

It was from a Deli 2 miles away from my house. The cart got here though eventually. Hope it didn't run over any old ladies using walkers on the sidewalks or back up traffic on the streets along the way.

There is a little bit of confusion here, and I admit I could be the confused one because I am not sure exactly what Jibb's experience was.

These carts are human operated and it does not "drive itself across the city" and therefore it did not get rid of a delivery driver. It simply put the delivery driver in a "remote work" environment, literally.

Something I think didn't come across in Jibb's post.

Crazy it didn't get to your place faster from only miles away.

Tip goes to the company. My order was thru door dash and it has you offer a tip as you pay. After that they then surprise with the robot cart delivery deal. Tip cannot be refunded or reclaimed at the point. It's kind of a scam.

I did leave a feedback. One star out of Five and a negative one! Took an hour to get my food, food was cold, delivered to the wrong address, hard to open the lid of the cart thru the app. It blocked the sidewalk also for about ten minutes, neighbors had to walk around it with baby strollers and dogs. I was standing there looking stupid trying to open the damn thing! ONE STAR RATING by Jibs. This service sucked ass!

Fock that damn robot! I should have flipped it over on it's side and walked away after getting my cold food delivered over an hour later.

I saw tables where people were licking their fingers from food they had gotten on their fingers and then pressing the button on the robot for it leave. I watched about 9 tables all press the same button, pretty gross.

That is nasty. Robots taking the little man jobs now.. I saw on the news the other day they will begin using robotic arms in fast food kitchens to cook shit. No joke.
