I have only seen the tax returns on one person who earns an income from casino games and he did pay taxes on those earnings.

Why are your kids still attending cyber classes? Pretty much everything back to normal in most countries around the globe.
That would get old fast. Family, wifey and kids would go nuts in no time even in a luxury suite. No amount of money and comps is worth that.

There is another poster on a different forum who also said the exact same thing that unless I am losing that I could not have gotten all these comped rooms and comp dollars. That's partially incorrect assumption and I will explain why which could get me trouble with the casinos if they come here and read these posts. I highly doubt that they do so I will explain anyway.
How are you getting all these comps?
I actually spent about $2,000 comp dollars in the last 4 weeks because all types of relatives came to visit recently. Two of my wife's sisters' families, my sister's family, and my younger brother, and I had to get them free rooms for all their stays and provide them with free meals like buffets, Hooters, Whitehouse hoagies, pizza, casino Chinese food, etc, all with the comp dollars. So, I actually had about $6,000 in comp dollars.
About 2/3 of the $6,000, so $4,000 I earned by playing in casinos and that sounds like a lot but it's over the period of one year so it's not really that much as earning about $333 comp dollars a month is really nothing as it's only about 40 hours of $25 to $100 average bet play. Divide that 40 by 30 days a month, it's barely 1 hour of play per day, but since my play sessions are longer than an hour I don't play everyday like a degenerate gamblers would. I almost didn't play at all for a whole month while my relatives were visiting. I was busy taking care of their needs, so I was always tired as hell at the end of the day and I just slept at night instead of gambling.
And, you should be aware that as I use the comp dollars, they are getting replenished from new plays so the balance pretty much stays the same unless things like relatives or families visiting all at once happen.
The other 1/3, so about $2,000 mostly came from CET for free. I got them due to some glitch on their rating system where they were giving out choice of either free play or free comp dollars 5 times a week and it's been going on for over a year whether I played or not, so something is really messed up with their system. Eldorado messed up big when they merged Tropicana's comp system to CET's comp system and they came up with these new kiosks. I used to always take the free plays and played the bets, but then the offer was going up and down, so once I started to taking the free comp dollars which is guaranteed free money, they weren't stopping from giving them out for some reason. Very stupid of them if anything. If anyone here plays in AC CET casinos, then they would know exactly what I'm talking about. The CET casinos are the worst for giving out the automatic comps from plays. You have to ask for food comps on paper in order to get anything out of them as the automatic comps are like $0.50 an hour if that.

If I'm broke or dead, they have plenty of options as all my siblings are very well off and any one of them will take my kids.
Besides, I don't make bad gambling choices; at least not like when I was much younger.
I currently have 30K bankroll and it's only growing as I'm just not losing. Knock knock. Don't want to jinx myself.

Around the clock room service and cleaning would be nice. If the Hotel and Casino has a nice gym and activities for kids that would be nice as well. Would have to be a top floor King suite with multiple rooms connected. Big screen TV'S, jacuzzi tubs, views, etc. All paid for and comp'd of course.
Sports book $100,000 grand a month constant comp and all hotel restaurants would have to offer free no in line waiting and paid for eating always. Big outdoor pool needed as well with private space reserved daily with beach chairs. Kids need to learn so in house home hotel teacher provided daily.
Would all be tempting if that was all included!

I already posted how much you have to play to earn the comps that I have which is really nothing. $4,000 is definitely not a massive amount by any stretch of the imagination as one guy who was using a comp machine in-front of me at Borgata looked like he had $27,000 and I had no idea that they let you keep that much at any given time. He was printing out multiple $500 free bets which I could never even dream of. Maybe, I missed a digit and it was only $2,700, but who knows.
Playing 1 hour a day is really nothing, but that's not what I do. I could play anywhere from an hour to 8 hours depending on how things are going. The long sessions are obviously from being down and trying to break even. If I played 8 hour sessions, then it's only 5 days out of a month for me to earned those comps.
I see a TON of people losing everything; especially at the baccarat tables. I rarely see people win, but some do win huge in tens thousands if they are brave enough to unload when the trends are going like crazy where the last few I saw were 18+, 21+, and 24+ wins in a row. I do play baccarat and it's mostly on $100 tables and whether you believe or not, I have not lost in 2 months. (I may have jinxed myself saying that so I better avoid playing that game for a little while.)
I flat bet, so I don't win much nor do I lose much. Flat betting has been critical for my streak.
Once at Bally's one guy cleared over $100K in short 15 minutes as he was betting the table max of $6K on a very long dragon tail. He lives in that casino as he is there every time I'm there and I'm there only 3 times a week. He is also a Korean and we Koreans know how to casino gamble for sure. Most lose though.
Anyway, I do play other games, but I stopped playing blackjack as there are just too many idiots who don't know how to play which affects the outcome at the tables. My main games now are FaceUp Pai Gow Poker but only with the dice as the position selector as the electronic ones are totally rigged and Pai Gow Tiles and nothing else.
I never touch the slots, but I would like to learn about AP'ing slots from Fishhead.
It may be hard to believe, but you cannot lose big playing the games I play if you are disciplined enough not to go crazy with the bet sizing. You don't win much either except when you catch a long trend in baccarat which can net you some easy money and fortunately I have caught streaks of 10+ at least 3 times in the last couple of months.
So, there is a way to not lose even though you are in casinos for so long.
Don't gamble too much and control your losses. Wins will come as everyone wins.

Don't go there at all; almost never even before the Pandemic hit as I have lived at my current home for over 12 years and as far as I know PARX has been there for more than 12 years. I might go there once in a while to maybe play cash poker or pick up some garbage free gifts with my wife. That's it.

To answer your question, I would never live in a hotel or casino for longer than absolutely necessary. I wouldn't let my kids live in a hotel or a casino other than a week or two on a vacation. Kids need to be around other kids being physically active and learning how to socialize. Roblox and Minecraft are fun ways to communicate after school but are not a substitute for real life interaction. How do you think they are going to do when they go to college? The good news is that they will likely be part of a generation of socially awkward introverts. GRIND THOSE COMPS!! FOY!!

Are you doing this for you or your kids? Both really. I do my thing and they enjoy more things that they can do in AC. My kids do spent a lot of time on their laptops but not my younger one and my wife doesn't like it and trying to limit their times on computers. If my kids don't like being here and want to go home, then we would have left a while ago.
What about home structure where kids learn to do chores like dishes and taking out the trash? My wife makes my kids do dishes. They get ice for our drink cups from the ice machine. They give my wife back massages. There isn't much else I can make my kids do that I would make them do if we were home, but we are trying our best to teach them responsibilities.
What about long term friends your kids can make being at home and going to school? They will make new friends once they restart in new brick and mortar schools. Hopefully they will make better friends but most likely a bunch of snobs as they really are filthy rich kids up there. We aren't going to be here forever and that's why the poll was for 2 years.
What about the long term mental illness that can come from seeing drunk gamblers on a daily basis with the profanity that comes out by the minute? They almost never go down to the casino floor so they haven't seen any drunks yet. They asked me about it when I was drinking a beer in the room, so I explained to them and they know what drunks are. I don't get drunk as I drink maybe 1 at most on any given day. The only time they would cross the gambling floor is when we have to go to a restaurant that's on the casino floor and we don't have an option but to cross the gambling floor. They never heard any cuss words from anyone except from me. They are going to hear it from someone in school, so they might as well hear from me first and they got to see in what situation I'm using the cuss words. If you knew, you would call me a racist when I'm not. I'm a stupidist.
What about the prostitutes that they witness walking around I haven't seen one yet in 2 years so my kids definitely haven't seen one. They are a curious bunch so if they ever saw one, they would have already asked me.
You think this is good? No opinion as to whether it's good or bad. Honestly, I don't see anything horribly wrong with it like some people are thinking here. If anything the only thing that's missing is their physical interaction with the other kids. But, we traveled for the whole month last August with my parents so they got to spend time with them. My parents are here 3 weeks a month, so my kids see them all the time and they are happy. I went out to California while going to Vegas and Laughlin and my kids got to spend time with their cousins. The way I see it, my kids are at a perfect age for this arrangement. If they are just a couple of years older, I don't think they can handle it so this arrangement isn't going to last long for sure.
You need to think about this for the safety of your kids also. There are peds in those casinos and you had better keep your eye on those kids at ALL times. My kids are never out of my eye sight, so there is no issue with that at all. I play when my wife is off from work 2 weeks a month and stays with us. She used to gamble sneaking out when I'm asleep, but not anymore as she finally realized that she needed to stop gambling so she doesn't keeping on losing all the time. She has been very good for several months, so I will have to see how much longer that's going to last.
If I could, I would let you talk to my kids and see for yourself what they say.
My older girl just told me that she is stressed because she has to push a stroller of stuff when we switch hotels.

My kids are very happy kids and they seem to like our current arrangement and they never complain about anything.

Before we did this, we asked the kids and they wanted to stay in AC as before the Pandemic, we were coming to AC only on weekends.
So, how exactly am I putting them through anything if it's their choice to stay?
They can tell us at any time that they want to go home and we go home.
They are not some babies who cannot make up their minds.
But, they are still kids, because they told me they don't want to go home because they saw a tiny spider in one of their rooms.

The older one will always say ice cream as she has the sweet tooth just like her mother.
The younger one would say fruit because she is already aware of eating healthy but she likes only certain kind like strawberry, apple, blue berry, and grape.

I wouldn't even need to ask them that question as they are old enough to know exactly what they are supposed to do like brushing their teeth before bed time. They never refused to go to their dentist as we have a great pediatric dentist and we are lucky to have found him. But, I just asked my younger one your exact question word by word, and her answer was "Go to the dentist, because you cannot eat without teeth." Those are her exact words and she is a smarty pants.

The same thing happened on a different forum where I say something and it becomes something else that I said. and it took so many posts to clear the air and they all came around and it's not about this topic either. It's about something totally different subject, so it looks like I have a problem explaining myself clearly or people automatically assume things immediately and I have to clear their misunderstanding.

You could be right, but that's not why I created this poll to begin with. Someone said on another forum that my arrangement is very strange, so I simply told him that since I cannot put a poll thread up for votes on that forum that I would come here to do it just to see how many agrees with that guy and apparently it's 100%. To be honest, I have no guilt whatsoever about our arrangement. I know this is going to sound crazy, but my younger one has a lot of interest in what I do. She is always looking over my should to see what I'm doing on my computer whether I'm working or making posts at different forums. She also sees me goofing around on an online baccarat site where I'm practicing playing that game. She wanted to learn, so I taught her everything I know and now I won't to be worried when I'm gone and she is old enough to gamble in casinos as she won't lose. She also wants to learn other things like card counting for blackjack and she knows all of the rankings for the Pai Gow Tiles and it took her only 2 days to master when it took me a full week and I have an IQ of 150. The bottom line is, everyone will most likely gamble when they become old enough. My girl will be fully ready when she becomes and she decides to gamble. She wants to become a doctor so she will have enough money to do it too. Well, considering how good her memory skill is, she won't have much problem becoming one as we already have two doctors in our family. I don't know if any one of you are doctors, but from what I can tell anyone with a good memory skill can become one as all it is just memorizing shit in medical schools. As smart as I may be, I don't have very good memory skill and therefore I couldn't be a doctor.
Anyway, I'm going to cut and paste into a word doc only the other posters' comments and let my wife read them and see what she says. She is with us 1/2 the time, so she knows what's going on and she would be the best person to decide what's best based on what people said. If she agrees with everyone, then I'm the only one not agreeing so I will have to rethink about this.
