The nets don’t want to give him a long term contract with the shit he pulled the last few years. They want him to play next year and see how it goes. If Kyrie opts out what good team he wants to go even have the cap space? Does he truly think he will get 200 million from any team?

The nets don’t have to do anything. If Kyrie opts out, Durant can only blame Kyrie since the team didn’t trade him. He left voluntarily. He chose money over your friendship and loyalty.

Clippers owner is dumb enough to sign him. Then, he'll be hurt and won't play if they make the playoffs.

Guy is one of the most worthless players pro sports has seen in the last decade. He's barely 30 years old and how many post-seasons has he missed with injury? The only reason he played last post-season was because he didn't play most of the regular season.

Knicks would be foolish if they had a chance to get him and didn’t. Everyone needs to stop hating on him. He didn’t want to play with LeBron, so what? He won him a ring in his home town. LeBron should forever be in his debt. The way things played out in Boston wasn’t ideal but they sure could of used him this year. The Nets, come on. Durant and Harden were constantly injured. Good for him not getting the jab. Either way, I won’t ever see him play again. I’m done with the National Warriors Basketball Association.

Lakers and Lebron would love to get him and dump WestBrick. That would be a suicide trade for Kyrie though.

Lakers are gonna be bottom dwellers in the division next year again even with the old fading Lebron and injury prone Davis. Lebron and Davis will probably get injured again 20 games in if I had to guess.

kyrie is a head case but lets not act like the man cant play basketball. put him on the knicks and they are a playoff team. knicks are sorely lacking pg play. i mean we had alec burks running pg most of last season and we just missed the play in tournament. IF kyrie can play 60+ games id take him in a heartbeat

Just missed it ? I thought they were well out of it

Losing Rose for most of the year was a major blow to their chances but why didn't Thib make Quickley the starting PG ? Seemed the logical move

Kid - you are blaming everyone but Irving. Irving DID NOT win Lebron a ring. Lebron already had a couple of rings. He should have had another ring if Irving wasn't hurt during the Finals vs GS. Irving should be kissing Lebron's ass for winning his only ring. Boston had to get rid of Irving to make it to the finals. You say Durant and Harder were hurt? But at least they showed up when healthy. Irving was a little bitch who hung his teammates out to dry because he was too chicken shit to get the jab. Irving has screwed every team he's ever been on and hasn't ever played a full season. He doesn't give a shit about basketball. The Nets finally realize that he is a head case. He's an incredible talent but flat earth dumb. Whoever picks him up from here on will most certainly include $$ escalators to make sure his lazy ass shows up and plays.

League is all about shooting 3's now, short point guards that are flashy that can't play D are still in demand.

If these midgets can shoot the ball and have handles then you will be wanted and have a job in the NBA. Hense Step Curry. Kyrie still has that same kinda game.

They were in the play in picture with about 2 weeks left in the season.

Quick is a good 6th man. I don't think he was ready to be the starting pg.

Losing rose definitely hurt but at this point of his career I would only count on him playing 60% of the teams games. What a terrible draft we didn't even get a player with our pick

Rose was a key to Knicks when healthy believe it or not

They are far away from competing deep in playoffs

    Maybe Irvin would help

Lakers would need a 3rd team to take Westbrook's horrible contract before signing Irving

    Not likely

What are the conditions on the future 1st round picks they got ?

How likely are they to get Brunson ?

At least they unloaded Walker's contract
