    This feels wrong to me. Line became inflated due to injury to Tina Charles, but I think without her this opens up opportunities for Tarasi and Diggins and things might flow a little better in the short term. Mercury also got absolutely blown out on Tuesday at Atlanta, then Tarasi pulled a Hoosiers and got thrown out of their last game against Chicago and they almost won, so I think despite the terrible start to the season that things are getting back on track. However a long-ass article came out on ESPN the other day about how we shouldn’t be surprised that they have sucked. Now of course they see this right? That’s bulletin board material for a league that rarely gets lengthy press. Also Connecticut got a big win last night at LV after losing there the game before. Back to backs aren’t super common in the WNBA and after the big win in particular I think Sun are in a bit of a fade spot.

    Dominated the second quarter but the finish was on the side of the Sun this time. Still won it by 1, we’re up 3 at the half and getting 7 at home for the game. Not a bad spot to be in

    And they definitely are, this game has gone actually better than I thought. I expected Sun to get up early and be leading at half and the Mercury would come back late. So while it might have seemed like I was sweating the game or whatever, I was just giving status updates, keeping the thread current as it were. I’m proud of this pick thrilla

    Normally Sun should be out of gas and blown out but since Mercury is in a shit form / losing streak. Not surprising they are doing dumb shit after dumb shit at the end here.
