That can still change. He has to be listed as out but if he passes concussion protocols, he could play.

The dumb decision by Doc Rivers cost them, he is still stubborn.

Philly will never win shit with Doc Rivers, plain and simple.
If you think about it, most NBA super teams had one common denominator, they all had great coaches.

Steve Kerr learned all his coaching knowledge from Phil Jackson and Pop.

Jackson won with Chicago, who drilled into Jordan's head "Hey Mike, you want to score 30 a night or win championships"

Pat Riley coached LA and Miami.

And don't tell me those star players could have coached themselves and still won ring.
Wrong, some of those teams were very difficult to deal with personality wise, Riley had his hands full with Magic and Kareem, GOAT players, but not easily coachable.

Rivers is a shit bum Head Coach, and never will win shit no matter how stacked his roster is or is not.

    Coaches win rings.

He’s still dumb. Dumbest coach in the league. Get handed stacked rosters and run them in the ground like mules.

While Joel Embiid (face) is still being listed as "out" for Friday's Game 3 matchup with the Heat, there is some hope that his status could change before tip-off.

According to John Clark of NBC Sports, Embiid continues to make solid progress in his recovery from the orbital fracture, and he "really, really wants to play," so we're going to upgrade him to "doubtful" on our injury report. He'll likely be a game-time call tomorrow night, but we should get another update after shootaround. Stay tuned.

If the doctors clear him, he'll play.
Won't matter much though, they're not going to beat Miami four times in five games.
If you think Philly can still win the series you can get +822, or you can pick your spots and bet Philly in either of the next two games on the money line, they're +130 dogs Friday and they'll be dogs again in game four.

Two things, Harden has given up all together, he clearly doesn't give a shit, and if Embid plays he doesn't match up well against Bam, Embid will not be that effective, he'll still get his, but he won't put up game changing numbers vs. Bam and that defense.

There's a process in place that I can trust that I don't know about?

The Sixers are a train wreck, the Head Coach is clueless, they got rid of one player whose brain is clearly not wired correctly, that being Simmons, for a fat, aging, overpaid bearded wonder that doesn't give a shit.

Then you got your frail as peanut butter brittle center that's an IR list waiting to happen...
What am I missing here, show me the process?

No problem, I only came across that item because I was on Twitter chatting it up with Rosenthal and some other MLB authorities I work with as a contributor. Or else I would have missed it.

Sixers Senior writer broke that story first, it's 100 percent legit, he gets his information straight from the Sixers top brass.

ok Nash thx again. Guess Embiid did not pass concussion protocol and I have a feeling they shut him down especially if they lose Game 3

The idle chit chat from people who do these things for a living was Sixers were going to shut him down regardless, they don't want to risk him long term over a series they feel is a lost cause down 0-2

Those were rumors I was hearing an hour ago from people in the industry, since they are rumors and chit chat I'm not going to say who said who or what. When you're listening to those people who know 100x more about what is going on I shut up and just listen.

Joel Embiid has cleared concussion protocols and went through shootaround on Friday, but there are conflicting reports about his availability for Game 3.

Yahoo's Chris Haynes reported that Embiid "remains out tonight in Game 3 against the Miami Heat." Minutes later, Shams Charania reported that Embiid "is doing everything possible to be available to play in Game 3." We have him listed as 'doubtful' and that still seems like the appropriate tag, as this is headed toward a game-time decision. If he's out, expect another uninspiring start for DeAndre Jordan.

Updating an earlier note, Shams Charania reports that Joel Embiid has been fitted for a face mask, and there's optimism he plays in Game 3 on Friday.

Charania also notes that Embiid will need to feel comfortable before getting the final go-ahead to play. Early indications point to him gritting it out and playing through the pain of orbital and thumb injuries to help his team avoid a 3-0 series deficit.
