There is no real substance backing Crypto that why the old farts don't like it or understand it.

They are use to buying stock backed by real companies or real estate investing backed by real property. Bitcoin and crypto is none of that.

If there is no real substance backing Crypto why is One BTC worth $40,000 USD?
Why is a painting or a rookie card worth tons of money? Perceived worth is everywhere.
    BTC is gaining an audience.

It is generational. But lots of broke kunts here will never come close to touching their wealth, certainly they are smarter than all here by orders of magnitude. Broke diks here are, evolutionarily speaking, left overs.

Also, no one today has been able to provide a single use for crypto besides it being a vessel for criminal activity and the mining itself is a massive waste of energy, emitting nearly 37 megatons of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere every year.

Criminal activity is a tiny portion of bitcoin transactions. A record of every transaction is on the blockchain. You can still hide transactions chain hopping but very few people are doing this.

Coins have been moving from PoW to PoS and hybrid PoS/PoH to lower carbon emissions. Changes will keep occurring to lower carbon emissions. Mineral mining accounts for a much higher percentage of CO2 emissions.

Elon Musk mocked Warren Buffett after the legendary investor once again hit out at cryptocurrencies over the weekend, saying he wouldn’t agree to buy “all of the bitcoin in the world” for $25.Posting a video of Buffett speaking at Berkshire Hathaway’s annual shareholder meeting on Saturday, venture capitalist Marc Andreessen wrote it was “wild” that Buffett criticized bitcoin “while nakedly shilling diabetes” — a reference to the boxes of See’s Candie’s that surrounded the legendary investor at a table.
“Haha, he says ‘bitcoin’ so many times,” Musk tweeted in response.
Last month, crypto supporter Peter Thiel, the billionaire investor, hit out at Buffett, calling him a “sociopathic grandpa from Omaha” and an “enemy of bitcoin.”

Thiel said investors should embrace cryptocurrency as a hedge against inflation.
Munger said he would never invest in bitcoin because “in my life, I try to avoid things that are stupid and evil and make me look bad…and bitcoin does all three.”

I highly doubt your understanding of bit coin. Bitcoin mixing by definition is anonymous, so it's impossible that you can quantify it's impact. Bitcoin is only essential to criminals, no other users of bitcoin actually need to use it.

Energy usage by bitcoin mining is increasing, not decreasing, but even that misses the larger point that despite it wasting massive amounts of energy, it hasn't, in any significant way, improved the lives of 99.9% of the population.

And are you seriously comparing mineral mining to bitcoing mining? The former is essential to day to day functioning of society, the other, is essentially worthless other than to criminals.

Warren Buffet made more money in his life time then every one did on this forum. He must be a good investor and know a few things.

I don't know how people can bash billionaires like Warren or even Trump that made billions of dollars during their life time when it comes to investing either in stocks and or real estate. Tech billionaires also. Elon Musk especially.

These people excel and are winners with vision and drive.

Trump was given $400 million from his daddy. He spent that and many millions more on failed ventures. He filed bankruptcy too many times to count fukking thousands of people, little mom and pop businesses because he’s a dick too. Name me one successful business Trump owned? ONE? He currently owes about $600 million dollars. Please don’t try to compare Trump with Buffett. One is a total fraud.

You don't know what mixing is....Never said it was a scam, it's completely useless, but not a scam, most of the time at least. Printing money out of thin air just shows you don't understand anything. Not worth my time debating.

Folks in Russia have no money dumb shit...the result of far right policies you trupmtards are pushing here in the states. If they did, they could more easily have their money in dollars, gold, or literally anything else, if they were smart/lucky enough to do so before the ruble crashed. Do you think BTC is the first store of value, porky? You still sad you found out your son was turned homo by a tranny teacher?

My dude, bitcoin isn't the only way to make money. And from what I've seen, no one is really making money in Bitcoin, not consistently. Meanwhile, getting a college education, 6 fig job, the boring road,etc... has put me well ahead of the pack.

Crypto's impact on society has been basically little to none at this point, that may change, but it hasn't happened yet.

Wanna get rich and find security and retire early in life then buy commercial real estate with a triple net lease, 5 percent cap rate, and with the lease backed by a corporation. Just sit back then and get monthly rent checks hands free with no management for the rest of your life.

Loopnet is a good place to start to find good commercial real estate deals nationwide. You can start with $700,000 - $850,000 if you can save up that much to get your portfolio started IMO.

Buy a chain restaurant like a drive thru. Hardies, taco bell, you name it any where in America with a dense city population. That's what I'm buying right now.

Using Bitcoin for international money transfers saves a normal person 4% to 5% in bank fees and forex premiums.

Being paid in US$ whilst living in a Euro currency country is just one example of a non-criminal usage that also solves a significant problem of banks parasiting off international commerce.
