Many thanks for asking this. I'll elucidate my reasoning for this pick in no particular order of weight or priority as follows:

Given point #1 above, look for a lackadaisical 1H show after which they most probably turn it on (or wake up) in the 2H. I've seen this scenario playout so many times in the past. So posit Long Beach easily covering the 1H spread and UCLA easily covering the 2H spread. But I'm ok with "early" money.
