Here are some early lines. Any opinions on these?
Akron at Bowling Green -14.5. Damn this line is high. Was hoping to get BG laying under a TD. Will probably have to stay away. Maybe look at a team total.
No real lean
Arkansas +6.5 at
Ole Miss. Both coming off beat downs. Will Arky have their starting QB.
I love Ole Miss here. Kiffin called a horseshit game. Bama just jumped on them and they were shell shocked. They moved the ball well but just couldn't finish. Arkansas got exposed by UGA. They're defense and offense are not up to task. The grove will be rocking in this one. Ole Miss wins this one by 3 scores.
Mich St -5 at Rutgers. Like both teams. Might have to stay away.
Leaning MSU but they tend to play up and down to the competition. Probably best to stay away on this one.
Oklahoma vs Texas +3.5. I like Texas and have already bet them. Also took Texas on the ML.
Has OU covered a game all year? They covered their first game against Western Carolina. OU is the most overrated team in CFB but the Big12 is so weak. Arkansas dominating Texas makes it hard to bet them here. I keep waiting for OU to break out but they can't. This is the first line that seems about right for OU. All the other lines were way bloated. I have a feeling OU covers easily but not sure I want to play it.
Vandy +38 at Florida. Vandy sucks but 38 geez. Is that a bit high?
I really don't know what to expect from UF. Mullen is weird as fukk. They could cover this line but I wouldn't take UF here. It's either Vandy or no play for me. Vandy hasn't covered a spread this year. Which probably tells me to pass.
UCONN -3.5 @ UMASS. This line has moved higher. I liked UCONN under a FG.
No lean here.
Georgia -14.5 @ Auburn. Will Georgia be tested here.
I think UGA blasts Auburn. UGA is on another level. Their defense will not let Bo Nix run around like he did vs LSU. I think this is a horrible matchup for AU. Eventually UGA will exert their will and you're looking at a 24+ point beatdown.
SMU @ Navy +13.5. Line seems high. Liked it a bit more at over 2 TDs.
No real lean here.
Wisconsin @ Illinois +10. Maybe Illinois could keep it within a TD.
Man, 2 bad inconsistent teams. Either team is sure to disappoint. My head says Illinois keeps it close against a 1 dimensional Whisky team but probably best to layoff this game too.
Penn State @ Iowa State -2. Who has the edge here? Maybe Under is the play? 41.5 is a low total.
I like PSU here, even on the road.
Alabama -17.5 @ Texas A&M.
I love Bama here. TAM is overrated. They don't have much on offense. Bama feast on offenses like TAM. This line should be covered by halftime.
Wyoming @ Air Force -6
Leaning Air Force.
Michigan -3 @ Nebraska.
Tough game but I'm leaning Michigan.
LSU @ Kentucky -3
I like LSU here. Kentucky really didn't do much against UF. UF had twice as much yards but too many penalties. The refs looked like they were on the take. 16 penalties? That is difficult for any team to overcome. I especially hate when the refs bail out teams on 3rd down and long or fukk a team by calling holding penalties on 3rd down. The Gators was driving the ball, about to score a TD and the refs call a phantom hold. Ball comes back, they don't convert, kick a FG that gets blocked for a TD. That was the game changer. LSU should be smarting after Auburn cleaned their clocks. LSU has the better athletes but very undisciplined. Can they limit the mistakes??? I think they keep it close.
