Ravens lose another running back for the season.

The Baltimore Ravens fear that running back Gus Edwards suffered a season-ending torn ACL during Thursday's practice, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Edwards was slated to be the team's starter this season after J.K. Dobbins suffered a torn ACL in the preseason. The Ravens have also lost No. 3 running back Justice Hill for the season with a torn Achilles.

The Ravens signed veteran Le'Veon Bell to the practice squad this week also signed running back Trenton Cannon to the active roster.

Ravens also fear that CB Marcus Peters suffered a torn ACL in same practice, per source.

Jackson's in for another 1000 yards rushing season.

If Jackson goes down Baltimore should just forfeit the rest of the season.

    what are the fantasy implications?

try to pick up next man up, Bell, roll the dice that Murray ends up there, make an offer to trade for Lamar , or just abandon ship on any raven assets you have?

I drafted Jackson in the fifth round in one of my drafts.
That pick is looking like a steal now.

    They should consider Devonta Freeman.
When he was with the Giants teammates and coaches loved him and his work ethic.

isn't he already on practice squad?

if ravens want a super bowl it's clear they need to go out and get Frank Gore

And Gore is a world class blocking back.
    He's an animal, love it.

And if he doesn't go to the Hall it would be like a felony.

I'm the exception not the rule but I think they can.
Maybe not this year after all the injuries, but unlike Cam, Jackson is a running QB that can actually pass.

    Murray is decent.

Bell hasn't played ftball in like 3 years, he should be fresh. If he can even get back to 75% of what he once was in Pit, he's better than Edwards and Dobbins anyway.

For the Ravens it all comes down to if Lamar Jackson can throw the ball in the playoffs, which he has not been able to do at all for 3 years now. Believe it when I see it.

Not a bad pickup in a desperation move.
    He won't hurt them.

I see Ty'Son Willian is listed at the top of the depth charts.
From undrafted free agent out of BYU one day to starting NFL RB for Baltimore the next.

    God Bless America.

Yeah...that won't last. Bell will probably start at some point after he gets warm.
