    Betmgm bs?

So I opened a BETMGM account over a year ago. When I set up my account, I had to provide my Driver's License along with a picture of my Debit Card I was going to use. I also successfully made a withdrawal within the past lear. Well today I got an email from them saying my account was suspended due to verification purposes and that I needed to submit My drivers license (AGAIN) and a picture of my debit card (AGAIN) and a picture of me hold my ID. Is this the normal process for them or am I just beginning a long BS process? I just don't understand why I'm having to submit all of this stuff again. It seems like they're just making me jump through hoops. Has anyone else had to deal with this?

It is most likely just stupid regulatory requirements.

I heard that they changed backend provider in the last couple of weeks and sometimes that can force regulated books to do all accounts again.

Either way I think I would just do it if they already have the info. Can't hurt and no need to lose the out over it.

I've done many withdrawals from MGM and never had to send any verification of any kind...maybe when I opened my account (don't recall then either tho) I had to, but never for a cashout. But like Opti said I'm sure it's just something standard. Maybe the way u choose to take the payout? Not sure wish I had the answer I only use that eCheck that takes 1 or 2 days usually to hit my account

^^^ Using Echeck adds to your verification level. Paypal does not.

    That is not correct.

Draftkings merged with SBTech but are yet to use that SBTech backend on their USA sites.

They are sill using KAMBI and were originally expected to change next year.

But given SBtech has always let any old person pay for their backend, it appears all their unlicensed sportsbook business might be a road bump on rolling it out on Draftkings USA sites.

Thanks. Was looking for a reliable source actually stating it for the news editor.

With the legal issues SBtech have been rumored to be having, it may not actually be a change to that platform.

Another poster has been explaining BetMGM went from a cash cow to limits, poor odds and less options in recent weeks.

I wonder if they have changed off the KAMBI backend too.

Didn't see any press release about the switch. It is definitely SB Tech, lines match the other SBT books.

I did not see any official word about it anywhere. Just word from people from different states saying their odds/offerings changed. Seems like they started implementing a few states earlier this month and switched a bunch yesterday.

I suspect my volume on draftkings will go way down
