May Need to Take a Break
I'm considering taking a bit of a break from sports betting after the NBA playoffs. Maybe take a couple dimes out of the bankroll, rent a cottage for a week and just chill. No screens, no Internet. The only lines I'll worry about are over/under fish caught, beers consumed, grams of kush smoked, number of (old school dead tree) books read.
Things are completely locked down here in Ontario, so not sure if this will even be possible at the end of July.
Am I going to experience withdrawals?

I'm frustrated at being a Pro when my Store orders take over 100 days to complete.

Huge Dopamine withdrawal. You should be feeling well in two weeks. Then after the 3rd week you a cured until you go back. The the addiction speeds up. Better to not ever take a break.
The only slight dopamine increase I feel is when I back a +EV position and the market/line moves with me. That can happen multiple times per day or not for a week or longer.

Bro... nothing wrong with taking breaks..I ran to the lake this past Victoria Day weekend in Mont Tremblant Que.. we were locked down here for months with an 8pm fucckkin curfew..now9:30 till Friday when it’s lifted
in the city.
Felt good to get away smoke some weed bang a French Canadian broad and just chill out by the lake and not bet for 3 days..small break but a break..I happen to like mikejam he’s right in the sense that no one will give a fuckk if you leave for a few months.. but breaks in the gambling world are good IMO.
