I've never heard anyone say he's a hall of famer. I never thought he was all that good honestly. His stats are mediocre. He only broke 1,000 yards receiving 3 times. The most receiving TDs in a season was 7. He did real well in the postseason, but that's about it.

Patriot HOF would even be a stretch

Didn’t he use performance enhancers? Or was that the other douchebag from NE?

Lynn Swann did not even have close to the career as Edelman if you weight playoffs heavy could vote for him, remember he has good rushing, passing, punt return numbers and also played corner one year.

He's very good, I don't always agree with him like yesterday when he was talking about Edelman.

Edelman is a border line Hall of Famer at best IMO.
Hines Ward and Joe Klecko deserve to be in before Edelman.

I think he should get in. Hear me out.
HOF is not diverse enough with modern day white guy WRs. I believe affirmative action applies here as we need diversity. Why would we base this on merits, stats, performance when it should be based on skin color. That is what is more important this day in age. *Sarcasm*

winning super bowls makes people forget things so in time u never know. statwise I ask why is aikman in the hof Ive never heard anyone question it but having 3 super bowl rings dismisses the question as well as bradshaw. aikman had some very pedestrian years td/int wise

Edelman was a gamer though, had no problem blocking for say Gronk or Sony, or White if the play didn't include him.
He was a lunch box down and dirty dirt dog. And I love dirt dogs.

We throw around the word 'clutch' a little to much around here but...
Julian was as clutch as they come.

And in reality, that's the only thing that matters.

For the HoF, they like their stats, so no.

Edelman is better than many wrs who are already in the hall. Give me Edelman in a due or die championship game over the guys who are going to the pro bowl seemingly every year.

2nd most catches and yards in postseason history.

He will be in the top 5 in those categories even when we're dead.

    Guy was a straight winner.

He guarded Anquan Bolden in the AFC championship game with under 2 minutes to go. That was Bolden's prime too... And who did they want to guard him?

Edelman. One of their main offensive weapons.

Welker dropped one of the most important passes in superbowl history.

Edelman made one of the best grabs in superbowl history, with the game on the line.

Edelman was way more clutch, Welker was more like a Payton Manning type. Grab all the reg season stats, fold up shop in the playoffs.

    I forgot about that.
You're right now that I think about it.

Edelman was Belichick's Swiss Army Knife.

Punt returner, blocking receiver, special teams....

Edelman and Larry Fitz come to mind when you mention 'blocking receivers'
