    They don't care about sponsors. If they have to they will go commercial free like they did a few years ago. There is not a thing anybody can do to make them change anything. They call all of the shots and it will stay that way forever

    The Masters aren't the typical queer, tranny, communist, drug crowd who'll bend over for a dollar. If sponsors threaten to ditch them, they'll ditch the sponsors and go commercial free like they did a few years ago; as it is now, they limit the amount of ads to, I think, five minutes per hour. If the top players threaten to boycott, they'll probably uninvite them in a minute.

    “I know it’s going to work,” Hardin said today. “I think as he settles in he will enjoy being a member, and we will enjoy having him as a member.”

    Hardin said in today’s editions of the Augusta Chronicle that the club’s first black member “should have a chance to be a member, rather than to be some oddity.”

    In the wake of the Shoal Creek controversy, the Professional Golfers’ Assn. of America, the PGA Tour and the U.S. Golf Assn. adopted new guidelines requiring private clubs that wish to play host to tournaments to demonstrate that they do not discriminate against minorities or women.
