I hated their statement on the "administrator". It should have said definitively the administrator will pay out your balance in full, PERIOD, rather than the fuzzy language of the administrator will "seek to deliver the funds" to the account holder. That brings up nightmares of BOS and getting 4 cents on the dollar from the 3rd party administrator years later. They should fix that to at least inspire more confidence.

I deposited about $ 1,000 on 9-6-20. I am reduced juice so no bonus requested or given. On 9-7-20 they announce that US customers need to get funds out by 9-25. So on 9-7-20 I make a request for my available balance (will deal with ungraded futures later). Today- I get this message-

We received your withdrawal request. However it was rejected due to the fact that you are missing to complete the mandatory one-time rollover required for your deposit(s) (Rollover amounts for each wager are based on the least amount of risk or win in each selection). The total rollover required for your deposit(s) (including the last deposit) is $957.73 and you are still missing $907.73.

I haven't played 5d for a while but I was curious about this as everyone who deposits has at least 1x requirement.

I posed this question here but didn't get a reply. So I emailed 5d and they informed me that a person can withdraw his balance for an "administrative fee." I didn't bother to ask what that fee is. It's most likely a percentage.

Something you might want to ask them about. I absolutely despise being rushed in my betting to complete roll over as it can easily lead to poor decision making.

Lets try to give benefit of the doubt here. I also have a substantial balance there tied up in futures way above 10k that I'm trying to get refunded. It's a sweat for sure but if they didn't plan to pay out they wouldn't have even announced this. It would have been just them closing up shop one day. If they screw over people with big balances any future plans they have will be screwed over. so from a business standpoint everything they are doing indicates they plan on paying and when they do come back people like us will bring back the heavy action to them.

As anyone that's ever dealt with a failing business will tell you....time is not your friend. Your best bet is to get out what you can as quickly as possible because there may well not be a tomorrow. One in the hand is worth at least 8-10 in the bush in this case.

And yes, it does appear that they're trying to work it out and are handling things reasonably, but no one knows when the money runs out and when the door could slam shut.

I went through something similar to this with Pinnacle years ago. Was worse because I had a deposit on the way to them when it happened. It worked out though.

I'm in the same boat with some pending election futures which sucks because they are far better than the current market odds. It is what it is, though. In a situation like this, if you get a refund you should be grateful. This is the risk of doing shady business with an outfit in a foreign country.

This is what I'd do. Don't rush your betting strategy just to complete the roll over as it will most likely lead to stupid decision making.

Take the 5% hit. You can deposit somewhere else. Or you can just let it sit in your wallet. When the major indices begin their next accumulation phase, btc will follow and you'll get most or all of that 5% back without lifting a finger.

Actually they just told me they do not support any sportsbook transfer any more and bitcoin is the only way to withdraw large amount of funds by the deadline. Unfortunately bitcoin broker, Gemini, sends all bitcoin sales as income to be taxed, even if it is not winnings which makes no sense. Anyone have other bitcoin brokers they suggest?
