None of it matters anyway. Most targets won't be standing there and waiting for you to shoot and not moving around. Shooting ranges are retarded. I mean unless they are standing there because you lined them up to shoot them like they do to POW's. It won't be like, hey take your time lining up your front and rear sights and yeah, get the grip the way you want it too. I will wait right here while you figure all that out and are ready to put one in me. Plus, not only won't targets be still, they won't be 5-20 yards out all the time and also standing still waiting for you to get yourself in the mode you like.

I know of only one range out there with moving targets. So, along with that as a business idea....you can also start cutting cardboard and painting fans for the stands like @ Dodger stadium. Is it fair to say whoever had the idea of replacing fans with cut-outs is a psychotic fool?

Have your buddy load the gun and leave the rounds out on occasion and see.
Correct but he is also shooting high.

JJ, when I used to go to the range I always did better after a “power” release. It relaxes your hands and eyes. Try it , I guarantee that it will improve.

Maybe hes pulling it like that, when he pulls the trigger. You can put a laser bore sighter in it. Then project the laser on a flat surface and see if the red dot is where the sights are lined up. If not, sights may need adjustment. The other thing to keep in mind, when you are shooting a pistol with a short barrel, any slight movement of the gun really takes you way off the target. The closer you are to the target the better ! Those short barreled guns are really made to shoot somebody at 10-15 feet if somebody tries to mug you or something.
