He was good but time has passed. Also Big Ben, Brady, Ryan, Rodgers, Brees, Stafford, and Dalton should all move on. These guys are too old and barely hanging on.

Would love to see him here in Tampa Bay with the weapons at wideout for 1-2 years until another qb is drafted.

Rivers plays just like Winston....slow and throws too many picks. Winston has a much better arm at least

Chargers had great weapons as well. Problem is both have crap olines. He still has a couple years left IF he goes to a team with a very good oline. The Colts would be an ideal fit with a quality oline and Reich was the offensive coordinator for the Chargers for a couple of years so there is familiarity there.

It's nice to see some new QB's and potential QB's in the works but it was just last season that everyone was talking about how the NFL is lacking QB's, just injuries away from having trouble all around the league.

They were even creating scenarios where Kap should get hired...that's pretty desperate in reality.

If all those guys you mention move on, what would it really look like?

Highly doubt that. After he retires, he will be a family man and coach his children in football(already does that) and the other sports that they play. I'd honestly be shocked if he went that route.

Gonna laugh when he finds himself behind in the 4th quarter trying back door cover or win it late with his new team.

He’ll be like “ Don’t worry fellas I’ve been here before.”

I just want anyone decent besides Winston.

I have 2 friends that have been multiple season ticket holders for many years who have made up their mind they're cancelling if Winston is resigned and have told their sales persons this.

Word is Bucs offices are flooded with such calls.

    Rivers is republican

I'd check for republican states needing qbs

    Indianapolis, Tampa bay, etc

Of course he doesn't want to play in shithole cali

As a lifelong KC fan I have always liked Phillip Rivers. He always seemed like a nice guy that was honest and had good values. I loved watching KC play the Chargers over the years. I wish the guy got a Super Bowl ring.

All these guys are now basically 1-2 year stop gaps for teams while they draft/groom a young QB

Winston has already proven he's never going to stop turning the ball over.

Since he's been drafted he leads the entire NFL in interceptions + fumbles

I understand Rivers isn't a long term answer for any team but I'd settle for him until a replacement is drafted.

I’m the biggest Rivers fan on the boards here.
    He still has game.
TB is where he’ll play next season.
Oh by the way he’s going to the Hall, look at his career numbers
