Could work, I've never tried it.. I seem to do well with just my one best bet for each day on the Contest play on all the books..

I like betting the field though.. Team and player props, futures, etc.. Some Days I just kill it with around 10 bets in.. Once in a while I get creamed to..

It’s a much more stable and effective way. Still not sure if it “works” because I can’t do it.

When I really isolate a play, something I truly feel good about, I feel like I hit 70%. It’s the bets you make 3 minutes before game time just because you’ll be watching the game, that kill you.

I’ve had huge paydays and big losses in my day. Gambling is a source of entertainment. I need my lotto ticket 15 teamer 10$ to win 100k and bets on a few games so I can sit back on the couch and enjoy myself. I’d feel just as bad about an 0-1 night as I would a 2-3 night mb even 2-4. 1 bet a day is boring to me, especially during hockey and nba playoffs , football season etc. don’t need to bet the moon on each game. Have fun with it and hope to get lucky and build a nice large stack so you can cash out and treat yourself to a vacay or whatever

1 bet a day if you do not actually have an edge is smart, the less bets you make the better chance you have of being lucky if you have no edge.
flip a coin once you can easily win with no edge, flip it 1000 times and you will lose whatever the negative edge is.

now if you have an actual edge you need as many bets as possible to overcome luck(variance)

Give out 1 play to your customers. Give half of them on side and other half the other. One group is happy and you do the same thing then 1/4 of your clients are 2 for 2 ecstatic and so on. And during this scheme convince the losers it was bad luck trust me on the next one it’s a whale play etc

If you pay for picks you are an absolute moron. It’s hard enough coming out ahead with all of the juice/ vig you have to pay. To add paying a con artist on top of that is pathetic I hope the misinformed can realize

In my opinion one bet per day is simply not a good idea.

One will either, according to their own capping, force a bad play when there is no good play that day or force one to leave good plays on the table when there are multiple good plays that day.

Both situations are not helpful for a bettor, pro or amateur.

Scared money is sure to lose and posing arbitrary limits like this on one's capping just produces scared money.
