    Forvetbet confiscated winnings & gave me 5 minutes to withdraw initial deposit

    Forvetbet belongs to LSbet and Reloadbet. Since I had made good experiences with both of these sites I decided to try out Turkish affiliate Forvetbet although I was aware that many Turkish books are scammers.

    So I registered last Friday, made a deposit, placed my money on a double bet (FC Dallas x Arsenal) which I won. Yesterday I sent in my documents to verify my account. Chat told me to come back today in the morning. When I came back today I found my account closed. Chat told me that they don't accept customers from Germany but they would reopen my account to give me a chance to withdraw my initial deposit. They said I have 5 minutes to do that, otherwise they would keep not only the winnings but the deposit as well.

    I looked through their ToS and didn't find one word about restricted countries. They accepted my registration (of course I could select Germany as my country), they accepted my deposit, they accepted my bet and waited 3 days before they decided to confiscate my winnings. Would they have returned my deposit if I lost my bet?

    Every prejudice I had about Turkish sportsbooks was once more confirmed. This was absolutely the last attempt with a Turkish book for sure.

    You even didn't get "dear customer" treatment

    So bad really, thanks for posting - this is exactly why I never test random books...

    I think this ring still exists

    It's like the Hydra of Lerna. Cut off one head and two new will take their place.

    I had a similar situation with joycasino.com

    I was able to sign up selecting Albania as my country of residence, deposited few times through Neteller , played there normally for 1.5 months , requested a withdrawal and i was asked ID+utility , sent them , ACCOUNT GOT VERIFIED (they clearly saw my Albanian ID and albanian utility), i got the withdrawal within 15 minutes , i kept playing again and again ...then...suddenly...my bets were all being denied !!!

    So , I went to live chat and asked what was going on.
    The representative on the chat had no idea and after asking the relevant department , i was told that its in their T&C that they dont accept Albanian costumers.
    At that moment , i was like WTFFF have these guys smoked?? I was able to sign up (Albania was not restricted) , made deposits , and the best part was that my ACCOUNT GOT VERIFIED (they saw my ID and utility) and and i received a withdrawal.

    They told they had no clue how the system allowed it , but made me sure that i would get my full balance.
    The kept their word and paid me full.

    Thats a great book : fast verification , fast withdrawals (max amount per withdrawal 1,000 EUR) and they behaved correctly and honest with me.

    In truth, Turkish bookmakers have been doing this for a long time. If the site does not have English, then this is a 100% local site only. it is very surprising that lonne55 did not know that with his huge experience. I got into more absurd situations. The TUR site has English, is your country, in the chat person said that you can play, but when I wanted to make a withdrawal, they sad that the withdrawal is only to a Turkish bank account. In such books you can not even get your deposit.

    @UglyTruth777:
    I (have to) try every book that allows me to register, deposit and place bets. This is the second time something like this happened to me but the first time I noticed a term in their ToS. This time they was no restriction mentioned in their ToS.

    If the site does not have English, then this is a 100% local site only.
    This is not necessarily true. For example: Jokerbet.es

    Their whole site is held in Spanish. I had to talk Spanish to their CS and it's worth mentioning that 99% of Spanish-based sportsbooks do not accept customers from other countries because they ask for a national ID, so-called DNI (Documento Nacional de Identidad). Nevertheless they accepted me as a customer and I have to say it was one of the best experiences I ever made with a sportsbook. Very polite CS. Reliable withdrawals. Not one issue in more than a year of using this site.

    They said they would return it today. But today is almost over.

    Either they return it tomorrow or never.

    Wow. These Turkish books only causing troubles. Never seen before that a merchant can cancel a transfer in Ecopayz retroactively. Contacted the book and Ecopayz but didn't receive an answer yet. Will update the thread.

    Update: seems like the payment provider that processed the deposit (SOFORT) and which I informed about this scambook did cancel the payment

    but I didn't receive the money back as of now, nor did I get a notification by the payment provider

    still interesting that a book can reverse a money transfer

    BIG UPDATE:

    They just sent me 2,000 EUR via Ecopayz transfer plus the following email:

    Dear Bastian ;

    We would like to inform you that your Ecopayz account ` 11xxxxxx97 ` has been credited by 2000 EUR as per your withdrawal request.

    As we have explained you before; Forvetbet website has fully been designed in Turkish and serve only the people who speak Turkish. As you can easily see there is no German version of our website. If you asked this question in first place we would have informed you that. Therefore your account will remain closed. We kindly ask you to not to open any other account.

    We believe now the issue has been resolved.

    Best Regards

    So if I get back my deposit from the payment provider SOFORT this will be more than my actual funds were (2,432.70 EUR).

    No idea what's going on here. Either this was an internal error of communication and somebody processed my withdrawal request without prior consultation of his colleagues or they just try to fool me and will reverse the transfer tomorrow.

    It was early market and the only books offering bets at that time were Unibet (and affiliates) and LSbet (and affiliates). NY Red Bulls v Dallas was no big league but a pre-season match. And I had to place a double with a big league match in order to push the limits. Ironically b365 came in with Dallas @4 a day later (dropped to 1.60 at kickoff) so I didn't even catch the best odds.
