Hardly a Jets fan, and I get it's only one game, but this team could be legit wild card contenders.
More than likely not going to beat the Pats for the division title, but based on what I saw last night there's no reason to believe this team can not go 10-6.
First things first.
Considering this was his NFL debut, Sammy had a very nice game.
Made an awful throw to start the game, but was stellar from there on out.
16 for 21 for 200 yards, for the most part made very sound decisions.
He's only going to get better.
Looks like Enuwa is the go to receiver.
Not a household name like Julio Jones etc. but steady.
If Pryor can live up to his potential, now you got something.
It's apparent Jets on offense are going to be a run first team.
Powell and Crowell also aren't household names, but they both looked sharp last night.
O line will make or break them. 2 sacks allowed ain't that shabby.
On defense, yeah, yeah I know it was jerky Stafford they were facing they still picked him four times. (0 sacks however)
Special teams looked terrific.
I'm not jumping on any team based on one game however there's no reason to believe this team can't beat the Dolphins and Brownies to start the year 3-0.
Week four Jets have their hands full at Jax, with a healthy Fournette that's a trouble game, with an injured Fournette they have a shot.
Looking at the entire schedule, 10 and 6 is a realistic.
As mentioned not jumping on any band wagon after just one week, but I got my eye on them.
