Hi Hockey12. Have you asked them why they believe your account is non-recreational? And if they are correct then according to their Terms and Conditions if they deem your account to be a part of a gambling syndicate then they will close it and withhold your winnings.

I've taken $16,000 out of them in the last 2 months in 6 different payments and they paid each of them within 1 day. They cut my limits in the things I like to bet so now I'm done with them.

All they keep saying to me is, it was a management decision. I hit them up pretty good this winter on hockey and had some Stanley Cup winner tickets open that were voided, something I'm not happy about as they didn't void my bets that lost.

It is unreal to think that they close an account, suspend plays and hold money when they can't site which if any rules were broken. If you are in fact non-recreational, they should say goodbye at their discretion, but all winnings should be valid and all open plays should at the very least be refunded.

They refunded me my deposit of $600 but owe me $1200 in winnings. I said it was BS that they closed my account and voided my bets and the rep said we can do whatever we want. I told them I was going to file a complaint with SBR as I thought it was unfair to cancel my bets and they said, that's a threat, which now voids your account and winnings.

I am in amazement and watching this closely. My account too was terminated. I turned a free play into over 8K. I got 2K out beofre they sited a free play rule (which I was in violation of) which allowed them to keep my 6K balance. I completely understand them not wanting my business but to accuse a player who won a little of being non recreational? C'mon guys, really?

hopefully sbr can help get those bets re-instated and get you paid in full... they helped me get paid when betus was trying to stiff me out of a large balance

they actually used the excuse that i would only deposit when i was getting a 100% bonus as a reason i was considered non-recreational... well every time i went bust they called me the next morning offering a 100% bonus, they loved me right until i went on a winning streak, just like every other player

Although this sounds like the only option you had, it's actually what they want you to do. If you threaten to reverse a card charge many books will consider that as grounds to cancel all bets and send the money back before you can dispute it.

Not saying you are in the wrong at all. Just that they sound like they bullied you with empty threats in order to get you to "agree" just your deposit back was a good option. :\

I play there because I have never experienced this type of action and I've always been treated fairly over many years. I also limit my exposure but every book has risk.

The customer service there is a complete joke. They are rude and won't even give you a chance to say anything. They yell at you and say, we do what we want as our rules state. If someones rude to me, why should I be nice to them? When you ask a question, you short answers.

I had a supervisor call me today and asked me if I got my refund and I said yes, but not my winnings and he said he would call me back within 24 hours about it. I won 91% of my hockey bets this winter, including a couple of three way parlays that paid off big. I had the three road teams underdogs first round to win a game on the ML and won. However, I took a betting in football last fall and barely got back to breaking even with them before they shut down my account.

SBR has BetUS at B, if the above is true, that seems way off. Though My-B is listed at C+, that's just criminal. I would agree that all the A's are real and good.
