Yes, GDAX is the professional trading platform for CB. A lot easier to trade and cheaper than through CB but they both take damn forever to clear deposits, unless you buy immediately with a CC which has high fees. I made a deposit almost 3 weeks ago that won't clear until Friday. Terrible.

I really wonder if the high fees drive people from BTC to ETH. I do believe there is a lot of money invested in these two, but there's also a lot of money sitting in these accounts waiting to go to altcoins, where ETH fees are so much cheaper.

Yes, GDAX is the professional trading platform for CB. A lot easier to trade and cheaper than through CB but they both take damn forever to clear deposits, unless you buy immediately with a CC which has high fees. I made a deposit almost 3 weeks ago that won't clear until Friday. Terrible.

Yah think my purchase took 8 calendar days to clear. I guess coinbase does it to protect themselves which I don’t blame them. They must never have collections issues or get caught holding the bag. Their customer service is so awful though. If you ever had a problem. Screwed.

that should happen in this years second semester... my guess is that the crypto market WILL GROW ON 4-5 main coins adding up 1 or 2 more every 2-3 years or so until a coin comes that can monopolize the market by having the lowest possible fee

BTC wont disappear when that 2nd coin grows but maybe stall further growth... and this is a MUST happen, there are only a handful of BTC left in the market

BBS - they cashed the money out of my checking account 2 weeks ago. WTF? The transaction was cleared by my bank the very next day. Coinbase is sitting on the cash. They slow played and used Christmas and New Years as an excuse to take more time to credit the account. That is bullshit. I sent a couple emails and zero answer. Good luck with that. Imagine how much money they are sitting on gaining interest from customers? Coinbase got the jump on crypto but another company should be able to easily enter this market and beat the brakes off of them. I send them money then buy coins then IMMEDIATELY move them off CB. I'm not going to let them hold much of my money at all. I only deposit with them because I can then buy coins cheap but these hold times are bullshit and are quickly losing me as a customer.

If you're transferring crypto into it to sell, it's as fast as a normal crypto takes to process. It's just if you deposit fiat where it takes a bit. They're claiming to be rolling out instant ach buys, but still waiting to get emailed about being allowed to do it.

The list is growing every day. Uber takes Litecoin but not BTC. Overstock.com takes a lot of different coins.

You can order a Bitpay card which basically uses your coins for **** purchases.

I agree with you 100%. Coinbase is garbage and any company that offers at least halfway decent customer service with security and decent fees will crush coinbase long run.

Coinbase purchase I made was at like 9pm eastern and that money was out of my account the very next morning when I woke up. They are definitely using the float to their advantage.

I’m surprised a company so willing to screw customers would do instant ach. To me that really opens the door to Fraud for them.
