    Intertops Sportsbook Suspends bitcoin withdrawals

    Thank you for choosing Intertops.

We wish to advise you that your withdrawal for US$1950 via Bitcoin dated December 21, 2017 has been canceled.

The decision has been made to temporarily disable the Bitcoin option due to technical issues being experienced with the confirmation of such transactions.

In light of the above, the amount has not been processed from your account and is available in your balance.

At your earliest convenience you may re-submit a new withdrawal request via an alternative option.

Please accept our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

There is another thread here where a poster has been waiting 14 days for their last bitcoin payment to be confirmed.

Honestly, not a bad call. The recent transaction fees and transfer times for bitcoin have been ridiculous. Curious as to why the books don't entertain accepting some of the other cryptos such as litecoin? Quick transfers with low fees.

    Betonline takes Litecoin direct.

Some other books do accept other alt coins but in some (most) cases their payment processor converts to Bitcoin before crediting so there is no advantage in using anything else. Same fees and speed.

Hoping all the offshores get their act together and switch to LTC or BCH as their primary money transfer coin ASAP.

Actually, transaction fees shouldn't be a problem. I haven't heard of any other books suspending BTC transactions. It's just Intertops. Maybe they are not batching their transactions? If you batch, tx fees should be very low per customer.

Good point, I always forget that you can batch process transactions.

On a side note, I did notice that Bovada is now taking Bitcoin Cash for Deposits which is awesome.

It's strange that they do this, because they are still accepting bitcoin DEPOSITS. If they were really having technical problems, as they say, why would they still allow deposits?

And if they can't offer bitcoin withdrawals, shouldn't they offer some other crypto like Heritage and other books already do?

Something just doesn't add up with them. I have seen a lot of Intertops complaints on different boards lately. Did they recently get new owners?

I see these guys as a scam site now. Let me share my experience. I requested bitcoin withdrawal, it took a few days to go through (as expected). A few weeks ago I get an email confirming the withdrawal had been processed, and I was provided with the transaction ID. This happened to be the day that bitcoin prices went crazy. I don’t know whether it was intertops or their bitcoin provider, but one of them double spent the output to prevent me from receiving my withdrawal. In other words, they saw that the bitcoin I was going to receive was now worth much more than my $ credit, so they canceled and kept the btc. They gave me a BS answer via chat blaming their provider. I guarantee that if btc prices tanked that day, the withdrawal would have gone through fine. I will not be using Intertops any more.

Perhaps SBR can step in and see if Intertops would send payments through other cryptos like LTC or ETH or etc.

And another thread where a guy got limited to $50 Max bets for winning three grand on an NBA line.

Sounds like this place is going downhill fast.

Can someone contact these squares and ask them what the deal is?

It guessing they got a new account manager fresh out of college who has no idea what he is doing.

    Sounds like a Vegas book.

They increased his limits to make completing the rollover more reasonable.

Opti! Please post a chat transcript or live Skype of you and whoever the idiot at intertops is who is making all these decisions.

It would be an SBR classic instantly!

Looks like they have reinstated bitcoin withdrawals, with a brand new, shiny $20 fee to boot!

Ya, saw that. Back when they cancelled Bitcoin it I had a withdrawal sitting there. When I requested it the price of bitcoin was about 18K.....they waited 7 days to send it. The day they sent it I received the bitcoin at 18k but the value of bitcoin had dropped to 12k so basically I got shorted about 35% on my withdrawal. Emailed them and they blamed it on their exchange and basically said oh well..... Pretty crappy way to do business. Once my pending bets reconcile I am going to withdraw my balance and start using 5dimes I think. They seem to be more stable with bitcoin.

Should also add I have done 30+ btc payouts from them as it took me a while to get my funds out. All 30 came in at below requested amount at time received. Not one single one came in a couple bucks above, every single one below. My last few were 5%+ below at the second it was received.

I just requested my balance so hopefully no surprises this time.
