If you guys never been to the Met for the opera, you have to go at least once before its all said and done. I'm nowhere close to NYC but got a chance a few years back to visit the Met to see La Boheme and let me tell you, it blows any sporting event out of the water.
Next time you're in the city, instead of wasting your time taking in a Yanks game, take the Ms. to the Met.

I tried to get people to see a terrific jazz video and got almost no views to the thread. I guess the thread title didn't lure anyone in.
I have a few friends that are into Jazz and they got me to go a few times back in school, and in all honesty, I actually think I enjoyed my drinks at the Jazz club more than anywhere else. It was a nice, relaxing atmosphere with no hostility and everyone could just relax and listen to some good music.
As for others on here contributing to this thread, you might as well chalk it up as a loss because outside the scope of gambling, they are clueless.
