How much does a game being televised affect your wagering?

I know I have made a diffferent wager than the one I really wanted because it was televised.

I'm not sure if I've made a different wager, but it definitely factors in for me. Probably a bad thing in the long run I guess.

You turn an investment (55% or better)into a bet( 50-50).
Over time that is a huge difference but....
As long as you are aware that you are looking at it as pure entertainment( like going to the movies) and can be satisfied in knowing that it comes with a price,it is an entertainment of choice. But it will cost you money.
If you want to learn more, buy the book Conquering Risk in the points store of SBR.

    Best of luck.

I don't bet on a game just because it is on tv. I usually don't bet on the super high profile games, I like regionally broadcast games that are a little more under the radar
