Why do few people know the difference between your and you're? For many I know English is not their first language and they are to be excused. But why do so few Americans know the difference? I blame public schools. (Ironically, those same people who least benefited but had most to gain from public education are so often the same ones who think it wise to slash funding for public education even further.)

Yes, I'll maintain a thread at SBR because there are a very few on here that teach me how to do this better and I'll take my 7 points and use them if SBR is going to give them to me. I work nights and like to bet Tennis. Books aren't open when I like to play sometimes. So I'll take the points that SBR so generously provides in return for time spent posting and searching through all the garbage for some form of intelligent post to hopefully improve my skills.
Most books Bets to cash ratio is ridiculous. Somewhere in the range of $500 bet = $1 in comp dollars. I think the lowest I seen was the LV Hilton. Theirs was $220 for $1.

Some people would take forever to get up enough comp dollars to have lunch at the book's deli.

And about cashing out at 5dimes. I just cashed out some of my balance in 4 days for free. No hassle.

Not sure how you can call someone broke because they aren't willing to give out personal information in order for their meaningless points to become slightly less meaningless.

I hope you enjoy your "credibility" and free Dominos pizzas

I don't care if somebody thinks I'm a broke phuck. I bet with a couple locals. But thats not the point I want to address. If a guy wins at sports betting. Does it really matter if he starts with $50 or a $100. I guess my point is, 7 points a day is good enough if you can win. Getting a extra 7 points a day isnt going to matter that much. The management at SBR are pricks. Why let them make a buck. Now if they were nicer then yeah why not support them. If your any good at picking winners. You can gamble that 7 points, turn it into a $100 free play and win plenty of cash. That extra 7 points a day you get for being a pro is only to entice the losers to deposit $200 so SBR can make a few bucks. Reloads cool. Bobby,SBR John are nice also. The others are pricks. Especially that big texas hillbilly. So phuck that.

Cost? Well they add to bandwidth. And they would cost SBR for any sports book cash or any t shirts that are bought. But they add to the number of members which helps getting advertisers and also it adds hits to the site which help. So overall I believe that non pros make SBR way more then they cost. If not I find it hard to believe they could offer what they do with just 2000+ pros putting money in a book.

Non pros are needed. Lets say that they have 2000 pros. Lets say 1700 of them used 5 Dimes as the book they go pro with. If all of the non pros left it would 5 Dimes has 300 people they can hope to pick up as new customers. Right now there is over 107000 members (I know some might not be all that active or plus ghost and so on so it would be lower), so that give them close to 105000 gamblers to advertise to.

No matter how you look at it non pros will always be needed. Lets say that all 107000 members go pro. That would be amazing for SBR and the books. With more points being handed out that means more people could be winning enough to buy sports book cash. After a while if there was no more non pros added up a book could decide that the advertising cost just are not worth it because they already have X% of of the pros already. So at that point they drop their ads. That means that cash there is no longer available. Which means that at some point another book is going to decide that the potential for new customers at this site doesn't match up with cost and will leave as well.

If they dropped the SBR store and could keep getting the same about of traffic they are getting now I think they would still do well.

So the way I see it is the non pros are (by being here and generating traffic) are paying for for a large part of the benefits the pros get to enjoy. The rules only state that you have to have $200 in a book to become pro. So someone could put money on a book and then after becoming pro decided to remove the money. They would only lose if there was any fees involved in the method they used. Some talk about making one bet then getting out. So only a % of the pros are even doing anything thats good for the books.

Thats good for you maybe they pick and choose who they **** with but i've had everything from **/** is down to theres a storm and theres a delay and of course the dreaded we cant read the docs you faxed 6 times, oh no we didnt get the scan you emailed. I've read at least 4 other people in the last 2 days talk about 5dimes being a pita to withdraw from ... its a fact they look for any and every reason not to give you that payout. Guys who live in Vegas are lucky i envy them. No doubt 5dimes is going to pay but damn they could be a little more customer friendly like say rebate wager you win they pay fast with a smile not look for reasons not to cash you out. even shit/scam books like sportsbook.com cash me without a problem.

I don't think that 25% of non pros are without a job. They can chose other books or they can bet at local bookies. Or they might not no or don't care about how to become a pro.

Or they bet with so much money that becoming a pro won't make any difference to them with a few extra points/post.

It is not true that pros are better then non-pros. You can't make comparisons between groups but you can make comparison between individuals in specific qualities. I believe everybody has a quality he is better then everybody else on the planet. It's just hard to find that quality for example I count faster then most of the people and I can see the working of the system overall and don't spend time in the details.

I still dont understand it going pro is a no lose situation ... going pro = $400+ minimum over that year at worst with trivia, poker, yearly member bonus x sign up date... It would be damn hard for you not to get that $200 back even if you lose your deposit. Im not one to tell the next man what to do with HIS money i really dont care but is foolish to just let free stuff pass you by in the great recession.
