SBR Reenactment(Based on a true story):
(In the Bellaggio Sportsbook)
JJ Gold: OK kid, we have been capping all night looked at every angle, this play can't lose.
New SBR poster: OK coach lets fire away.
JJ gold:Excuse me Mr. teller, we would like $27,000 on Indiana St.
Teller:You are not with some kind of organized crime outfit, are you pal?
JJ Gold:No, I'm with unorganized crime.
Teller:Good enough, you got it pal $27,000 on Indiana St.
(The game begins)
(Indiana St. opens up a 25 point lead at
halftime, meanwhile the new poster checks out the SBR Players Talk Forum)
New Poster: Hey coach, this guy in Players Talk has Indiana St. as some kind of Big time play, I think he called it a "Rubberband play" or something. He was so confident he says its going to be a blowout, boy he was right that guy is sharp. Do we got this one in the bag or what coach?
JJ Gold: F***! Landers has a "Rubberband play" on Indiana St.!
(JJ rips up his tickets and storms out of the Sportsbook)
New poster: Coach! What are you doing, there is 10 minutes left and we are up by 15. We have the game at a pick. We can't lose this, we capped all night and looked at every angle.
JJ Gold: Sorry kid, we have been Landerized.
(The game ends. Indiana St. loses by 1 on a buzzer beater. The new kid notices a man in the corner with a Guns and Roses t-shirt, kicking and throwing a tantrum.)
New Poster: Hey, looks like you had Indiana St. also.
Strange Man: Yes, but that is ok I have a big play coming up tomorrow, it's a really big play for me. I'll give it to you for nothing, I call it a "Rubberband play."
New poster: Go F*** yourself!
