Canadians About to Get Raped by Internet Providers
Starting March 1st, they (internet/TV providers) are going to limit our internet usage to 25GB/month. If we go past that they charge $2/GB. Given the fact that we spend less than a penny per GB right now, this is robbery.
We are already protesting this. As Americans you guys should be worried as well because once these regulations are put in place they will trickle over to you.
We get raped on a lot of things. Its beyond pathetic the monopoly that exists.
But you don't have the exact facts on this. Its not 25GB/month for everyone. The big 3 will still have whatever they have now.
They are just trying to screw the little guys who are providing unlimited internet and piggybacking of the big3's networks.
Yeah but you still can bet at Pinnacle and don't have a shitty GOP party trying to fuk you out of all your freedoms.

The big 3 stopped offering unlimited a long time ago. I'm with Bell Fibe and only get 75GB/month (plus an extra 40GB for $5). 115GB/month is good enough for now.
How much do you pay a month for the 115GB?
I think around $90 including taxes. A ripoff but what am I gonna do? Internet is a necessity.
I still have unlimited with Bell, it was grandfathered in.

fukk that shit man thats bullshit if that happens. i use to have rogers lite internet, which was 30gigs a month i always use to go over the cap. now i got rogers express which is 60 gigs a month, and i can live with that. 25 though... UNREAL!

I used 10GB last saturday watching league pass (just the live games - no replays).
I used up my 150 limit last month.... it cost me $20 to upgrade to a 400gb limit. this is in backwards australia too....

The parliament just intervined and stopped the bill (that was quick). It seems all the protesting has finally let politicians know that these companies really are robbing people.
