    I've seen a program on the Travel Channel about the deep fried
    foods at the Texas State Fair.
    They say that the new item last summer was indeed the deep
    fried butter.
    You say that they taste like donuts...Guess I'll take a pass on the
    butter item and take your recommendation on the Oreos.I'm not a
    big Oreo fan....but it does sound inviting.
    Guess I could handle the deep fried pickle with a cold beer.
    It'll be interesting to see what they come up with this summer.

    Same, it's definitely on my bucket list. I heard deep fried butter was the winner of the Texas State Fair deep frying contest last year, I think.

    Yeah looks real appetizing! You should try the deep fried chunk of lard smothered in melted butter, wrapped in bacon and covered with nacho cheese. You can find 'em at every state fair, it's called a fat chick in a tube top!
