I am buying 100 shares. Probably will sell early next week hoping to gain 10% as the earning are coming next week and will be high.

Earnings out on the 1st. Big short unwinding takes it over 30 in next few days.
SVM up .48 cents today at 10.61. This thing will go to 14 by next week.
MSO dropped, I expected a little its a GREAT time to buy now that will be at around 4-5 by next friday.

Actually, come to think of it, why don't we have an entire small sub-forum for stocks--especially penny stocks? The idea is similar enough to sports capping, and we have plenty of guys here. I've gotta think a few of the wiseguys from the think-tank would have some insight. Anyone with me on this? Mods?
We need to get a lot of the true degen. gamblers on stocks so we dont get threads like "Im going to kill myself" etc.

If you want a good stock you can trade look at BAC. It had a slip to like 10.92 on a perfect storm of news including Wikepedia leaks, Irish debt and something else. But in the last 6 weeks it came off 11 and hit 15. Now its almost where you can buy again at 13+. Great trading stock, simple simon chart.
I don't do homework, I don't know the lingo and I'll never get rich by buying a cheap stock that I have faith in and wait for it to explode like Microsoft in the 90's. But I do know that certain "safe" stocks fluctuate..
I've done pretty good buying and selling WHR over the last couple of years. Bought it at $48 sold it at $91, (didn't make as much as it sounds, I wasn't in for much, you can't be greedy tho', after I sold it at $91, it continued all the way to $115 or so, but so what). It dropped back down to the low $70's, I bought it again at $74 and its at $89 right now and I'll be selling soon. I've done this with a few stocks over the years.
I like to look at stocks like Ford (F)...Todays low $15.98 and high of $17.88 and it's at $16.25 right now, So I'm thinking if I buy it at $16.50 it would be a safe bet that I could sell it at $17.50...If not, if I have to sit on it for awhile, $16.50 is not a bad price to be on. I know people who made a mint buying it a $4, selling it at $11. But again I thought it was going to sit at $4 forever and couldn't be bothered with it,

^^ Safe yes...considering earnings look good. Also I like Amazon to bounce back after a rough patch.
They are the Kindle owners and make more self products now!
