As far as wanting more after those two days, I would say 4 days is the optimum time in Vegas for a compulsive gambler before REAL bad things can occur. I find Vegas gets me depressed after 3 days there. It can be a hard and cold city if things don't go your way. So three days tops for me, excluding travel time.

I'm going 16th-21st this year..left on Sunday of round 1 last year and it sucked. Day 1 is the 17th, which is Thursday not Friday so make sure you plan accordingly....regardless of how long you are there you want to return as soon as possible.
