    Bose Speakers
Recently purchased Bose 301 Series V speakers. Opened up package and found nothing in it but the two speakers. No wires or anything. I'm not at all familiar with speakers and how to set them up. What additional wiring must I buy? Where can I get them? Also, how dp I connect them to a mac laptop? I'm a newbie to sound systems so bare with me.

Will provide points for those who can help.

That's some bullshit. I bought a blu-ray player, got home and realized I had to buy my own HDMI cable.

Seriously return them and buy computer speakers if that's your intended use. If you want to stick with bose get these instead http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Bose%26%...&skuId=7996403,

These are not the right speakers you want to use for a computer.
From your computer or laptop you will have no power to really push them.
They do not have a amplifier built in them like normal computer speakers.
You could get a receiver or amplifier to go between them.
You could still hook them up but you will not be happy with what you hear.
Most likely you will need a headphone to rca output, then a rca to speaker wire.
I dont think they make a headphone to speaker wire, because this is a completely
ridiculous setup, you might not even be able to find the rca to speaker wire.
So to might have to modify a headphone wire.
Go to radio shack first if anyone has it they would then try best buy, or and store that sell electronics

Again these speakers are completely wrong for want you think you want to do.
I would return them and get computer speaker.

Returning speakers and receiver tomorrow and getting these http://reviews.cnet.com/pc-speakers/...-33714389.html. Apparently they are some really awesome bookshelf speakers that you don't need a receiver for and connect to my mac easily. Thanks for the help.
