From what I see of the guys I know who junk for a living and/or on the side it is relatively hard work, too. Lots of tearing down appliances for the meaty valuable stuff inside, separating items, stripping wire, etc...for maximum profit.

Hilarious thread. At least I can make a mental checklist of who is serious and who is completely full of shit with these.

    Is there any other way?............

Iowa produces outstanding watermelon also, some of the very best in the world.

As a farm manager, I'm also employing the production of a soybean plant that will be producing a transfat free oil .........will begin this next growing season.

CROP UPDATE---This is going to be one of our better corn harvests in recent years..............

Fishhead was the trailblazer before it was known as dumpster diving.

The law here in Toronto is different, once the garbage is left for disposal it becomes property of the city not public property, theoretically its theft if you go taking items from the trash.

I put a non-working CD player in my recycle bin last week at 11 pm and when I woke up it was gone before the trash guys came to pick up the trash. I didn't report it as a theft even though the bin was on my property.

I have been dumpster diving for years. I go to the dump to recycle my cans & always bring back $20 worth of shit that I fix for another $20 & sell for $200.

I just bought a go cart off a kid that didnt run for $30, he just wanted some quick cash to buy some dope. I fixed it & sold it for $150. Bought 2 tillers for $70, spent $30 on them, and sold them for $300.

I took some brake rotors to get them turned last month at my local mechanics & he had an echo weedeater laying in the yard. He said it wouldnt run & was pissing him off, he went & bought a brand new one. He said I could have the fukin thing & was just cussing it.

I took the carb off, took it apart & cleaned it, put a $4 primer bulb on it, put the right fuel mixture in it, adjusted the carb. It runs like a fukin new one, never had a weedeater start & run that good ever. Sold it for $50

dumpster diving is the best, I found a very nice humidor and 4 nice kitchen chairs a few weeks ago outside a dumpster near house. I live in auburn, so all these spoiled kids with mom and dad paying for everything will just set anything out, and I am reaping all the benefits.
